Whilst 2018 may well be Aline Beauné’s first ever solo vintage, she’s no stranger to winemaking in the Cote Chalonnaise. For 15 years she has been heading up the winemaking for Château de la Crée (a domaine based in nearby Santenay) when a few years ago she decided it was time to do it all herself. So when the Buxy co-operative’s lease on 5ha of her families 12ha of Montagny vines came to an end she jumped at the chance. Her 5ha are found in the commune of Saint-Vallerin and are split between; 12.5% Aligoté, 25% Bourgogne Blanc, 50% Montagny Villages and 12.5% Montagny 1er cru Chazelle.

An orange wine crafted from a premium selected vineyard parcel in the Valley of Itata. It's a true expression of terroir with a breathtaking intensity and elegance. Yellow in color with golden edges, the intense aromas are of white flowers, spices, and ripe fruit. The wine has big body, and lots of character and complexity.
The juice was fermented with the skins in a concrete tank, stay together for 6 months and then without the skins for 4 months in old french barrels. Minimal intervention, like the old men used to make wine, native yeast and no filtration.

Chateau Guiraud, an 1855 Classified Growth, is one of the most prominent estates in the southern Bordeaux region. This fine estate in the Sauternes appellation has been driven by its pioneering spirit since its creation. Since 1996, the estate has been devoted to biodiversity and in 2011 obtained an Organic Agriculture certification. G of Château Guiraud is a dry white wine made from grapes harvested at full maturity. It is aged for approximately 7 months in the oak barrels that produced the previous year's Grand Cru. It reveals a richness of expression and an assertive personality. The blend of 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Sémillon.

Escarpment strives to produce wines that capture a unique sense of place. Their home vineyard on Te Muna Road is situated just minutes east of Martinborough village, with 24 hectares of distinctive alluvial gravel, and terraced land stretches out along the banks of the Huangarua River. The soils of the vineyard are alluvial loams that were formed by the Huangarua River over 20,000 years ago. With very deep alluvial gravels now layered over the loams, this composition ensures exceptional drainage, one of the key prerequisites for nurturing and producing premium quality, healthy grape vines.

The Terredora di Paolo estate is located on the hills of Irpinia, surrounding the valleys of the Sabato and Calore rivers. With about 180 hectares of vineyards, it is now among the most prestigious producers in Southern Italy. The ancestor of the Greco vine may have been brought to southern Italy more than 2,500 years ago by ancient Greek settlers. Historians and Italian growers have speculated that the grape may have been a blending component in the ancient Roman "cult wines" of Falernian and Aminean. A long period of ripening ensures a bright, deep golden colour with greenish hues. It's an outstanding, elegant and balanced wine with intriguing fragrances of white flowers, citrus fruit, pear and apple overlaid by subtle honey and an agreeable mineral sensation. The fine acidity merges well with the rich body and the long mineral and fruity aftertaste.
De Moor Vin de France Caravan

Domaine Alice et Olivier De Moor is located in Courgis, in Burgundy. Alice is from Jura and met Olivier in a renowned estate in Chablis where he was in charge of the vines. They both graduated in oenology, and with their knowledge, they started their domain by planting three plots of Chablis in 1989, while still being employed elsewhere. From 1995, they devoted themselves entirely to their 4 hectares of vines, which they extended in 1996 by purchasing a large plot in Chitry. Alice and Olivier De Moor have been working their vines in organic farming since 2005. In 2002, they replaced the large harvest boxes with small boxes where the grapes were not crushed by their own weight. In 2007, they built a large cellar with high ceilings, allowing them to do all their cellar work by gravity. In 2008, they bought a second-hand pneumatic press to process the grapes as gently as possible. There is no sulfur used during the harvest or during the vinification.
Caravan’ cuvée is atypical since it is a blend of Riesling from Alsace, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Aligoté.
La Monacesca Verdicchio

Agricola La Monacesca is located in the commune of Matelica, about 4 kilometres from the centre of town, in the Monacesca contrada, along the state highway that leads to Fabriano. The area where we they located owes its name to the settlement, around 900AD, to a small band of Benedictine monks from the monastery of Farfa who fled northern Italy under the scourge of the Lombards. They decided to stay in this out-of-the-way place, and built a small church and a monastery (today perfectly restored and now part of the winery’s borgo, or hamlet); thus this splendid area took the name of Monacesca over time. The name became the winery brand-name too in 1966, when Casimiro Cifola, having purchased the farm properties, began planting the first vineyards and built the first wine cellar. 1973 saw the release of their first Verdicchio di Matelica. This signalled the departure point for an extraordinary adventure. Starting in 1982, Casimiro was joined by his son Aldo, the current director of the winery; he gave his support to efforts to further increase, through technical means, efforts focused on drawing out the qualities inherent in to Verdicchio.
