Produced at Carm's winery at Quinta das Marvalhas in Almendra it's a blend of Rabigato, Viosinho and Moscatel Galego Branco. It's well-balanced, ripe and round, with mineral and fresh peach and apple notes with a succulent crisp finish. Excellent value!

Verdejo is effectively unique to Spain, and specifically to the Rueda region. It's dominated by citrus flavours that include lemon/lime and grapefruit, along a hint of salinity and a pleasant almond note that often develops after a few years in bottle. This one is aged on it's lees for 3 months, all in stainless steel tanks. It's a brilliant seafood wine, particularly with delicate white fish and the bivalve family (oysters, mussels, clams).

One of the Douro's top producers of table wines! This wine is a blend of regional grapes, including Rabigato, Verdelho, Alvarinho, and Viognier. While the Douro is particularly renowned for its Ports, of course, it is also home to many fantastic table wine producers, such as Rui Roboredo Madeira, the maker of this white blend. Serve chilled with seafood, maybe a plate of grilled calamari with oregano.

"Quinta da Pedra Escrita estate is located in Freixo de Numão - Douro Superior, with an average altitude of 575 meters. The windy and dry soils of the Estate are predominantly of granite, sandy and very poor in nutrients. Here I grew my first vineyards, always believing that the granite soils give us wines with highly complex aromas and great longevity, like in the old times."

This white wine from the Douro is made with Rabigato, Gouveio, and Viosinho grapes; all of which are local to Portugal and the Douro Valley. The vines are dry farmed and the grapes are harvested by hand with vinification and ageing before taking place in stainless steel vats.
