Azienda Agricola La Torre is located near Sant'Angelo in Colle, in the southern part of the Montalcino municipality. The first La Torre Brunello di Montalcino was the 1982 Brunello, which appeared on the market in 1987, eleven years after the estate was purchased. The estate is 36 hectares in size, 5.6 hectares of which is planted as vineyards. The winery produces Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, Ampelio, Rosso Toscano and, in outstanding years, Brunello Riserva. The winery operates on a traditional basis, although its practices respond to developments in know-how and environmental protection. Tradition is never forgotten, and recently-abandoned procedures and practices are given due consideration alongside innovations provided by scientific research.

Joining True Wild Distillery's Roper's Hold staple of Canadian Whiskies is a... Bourbon?!?
That's right. This 6 year old Bourbon Whiskey was originally distilled at the historic Barton Distillery, which resides just outside of Bardstown, Kentucky. It has been finished in new toasted oak casks and bottled at 50%. And I believe it is only available in Alberta.
True Wild Distillery & Restaurant is located in Calgary, Alberta. The Roper's Hold Whisky series consists of casks sourced from other Canadian (and now American) distilleries, which have been finished in different casks and then are released in small batches.
Daftmill 2011 KWM Single Cask #101

Our second ever, KWM exclusive Daftmill Cask is a 13 year old, martured in a First Fill Oloroso Butt (filled in 2011), before bottling at 58.9%. Daftmill is one of Scotland's smallest distilleries, it is litterally a one man show, and it only fills about 100 casks a year. Of the 100, the vast majority are ex-Bourbon Barrels, just a handful of sherry butts are filled each year, so it is a real honour to have been given the opportunity to bottle one. This is the first sherry matured Daftmill to come to Canada!
