Nicely intense yellow in colour, fragrant and aromatic bouquet with light notes of mandarin, grapefruit, white peach, flowers and sage. Refreshing taste, sweet and aromatic on the palate. This wine pairs well with the desserts of the best Italian tradition. We recommend it also for more daring pairings and more intense flavours: certain cheeses that are not overly seasoned, salami and figs, or as an aperitif. Some venture as far as grilled prawns. After all, in the olden days a typical snack of our household was bread, tuma cheese (made with sheep's milk) and Moscato.

Tomatin Decades II

Decades II from Tomatin is a marriage of 21 casks spanning five decades of whisky-making at the distillery. The cask styles chosen for this special release include ex-Bourbon, ex-Sherry, and re-charred French Oak. Below is a list of some of the casks in the mix:
- Refill Bourbon Hogsheads from 1973, 1975, and 1977
- First Fill Oloroso Sherry butts from 1988
- First Fill Bourbon Barrels from 1995
- Re-charred Verdejo Wine Barrels from 2000 and 2009
- Second Fill French Oak Barrels from 2013.
The whisky from these casks underwent a marrying period of three more years in First Fill Oloroso Sherry Butts before being bottled at 46%.

This release can be considered the headwaters of our whisky program, with many more exciting expressions coming down the road; but for now, please enjoy WLD's first dram."
