Producer Description

"Caisteal Chamuis 12 Year Old is made from a blend of single malts all distilled on Islay and Orkney. It has been matured in Oloroso Sherry butts, resulting in a ‘rich and smooth’ whisky with a ‘complex fragrant, heathery, lavender‐like peat’."

SUPPING SHERRY FROM POLISHED WOODEN CUPS - SMWS CANADA EXCLUSIVE!

This 15 year old Speysider spent 11 years in an ex-bourbon hogshead before being transferred to a 1st fill oloroso hogshead, and was bottled at 55.5%.

Glenturret 10 Year Peat Smoked

We are currently on the 2023 bottling, but are expecting the 2024 soon. This peated Glenturret has been bottled at 48.4% after maturing in Refill American and European Oak casks.

This peated Glenturret bottled at 46% was primarily matured in American oak, but with a little European to add sweet fruit notes. We currently have the 2023 release, but the 2024 is arriving soon.

Original Tasting Description

Keith Robinson and Matt Widmer founded Wild Life Distillery in 2017. The distillery resides in Canmore, and has now been releasing different whiskies made from Wheat, Rye, and Single Malt for the past few years. This virtual tasting focuses on Wild Life's gin and whisky production, with Keith Robinson taking you on a tour of the distillery which resides in Canmore, Alberta. If you want to get a breakdown of production from grain to glass, this is worth the watch!
