As a family business with a strong connection to the South Okanagan site, the goal of Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars is to realize the potential of the individual sites of the land in which the grapes are grown. Overlooking and tending, the Mavety’s life work is an ongoing process of creating something simple yet powerful, to be expressed in the glass and enjoyed. Blue Mountain’s strong focus on viticulture across the site allows for an increased representation of individual terroir when the grapes reach the winery.

Blasted Church Syrah

On the one hand, the story of Okanagan Falls, BC, winery Blasted Church Vineyards is similar to many others in the region. In 2002, Vancouver expats Evelyn and Chris Campbell were through with their urban careers and figured owning a winery would be fun. But on the other hand, Blasted Church is the story of a brand, and their story is like few others in the Okanagan.

Cloudsley Pinot Noir Twenty Mile Bench

This Pinot Noir was made with grapes sourced from carefully chosen vineyard sites in the Twenty Mile Bench sub-appellation. These vineyards, situated near the winery, are well-suited for producing elegant, classic Pinot Noir that demonstrates what makes this part of Niagara so special.

Cloudsley Cellars is dedicated to creating Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Niagara, Ontario. The cool climate and limestone soils found in this region create an environment ideally suited to making a classic, elegant wine that brings out the best in these noble varietals. It’s a deeply personal project, unmotivated by consumer trends yet informed by over 20 years spent tasting world-class wines. It's inspired by a love of Burgundy, but squarely focused on this stretch of land that intrigues and beguiles wine lovers. Formed by passing glaciers, the soils of the Twenty Mile Bench tend to be made up of deep clay and till, with a large amount of limestone and shale. These soils tend to be moderately well-drained, with the rolling topography and the varying slopes of the escarpment aiding this. The varying elevation and slope, along with the circulating lake breeze, moderate temperatures, ensure gradual warming in spring and cooling in fall.

Terravista Fandango

Terravista is situated in the Sub GI Area known as the Naramata Bench with over 50 wineries in the area as their neighbours.
Their Estate Vineyard, Lone Hand Ranch, is the home to the wine they call "FANDANGO". Spanish varietals, Albariño and Verdejo, typically grown in northwestern Spain and Portugal, were planted here in 2008. The southwestern slope of till sediments and stony soils of this vineyard above Naramata Road are optimal conditions for these aromatic whites with crisp acidity.

Cloudsley Chardonnay Twenty Mile Bench

Made with 100% Chardonnay grapes, the wine was barrel fermented using wild yeast. It was matured for 18 months in French Oak (24% new) before bottling.

This Chardonnay was made with fruit sourced from the Wismer family's Foxcroft and Wingfield vineyards. These vineyards, situated near our winery, are perfectly suited for producing elegant, classic Chardonnay that demonstrates what makes this part of Niagara so special.

Burrowing Owl Chardonnay

Burrowing Owl's first vineyards were planted in 1993 and the winery's first vintage was released in 1997. The winery boasts the first underground storage caves in the Okanagan Valley. This Chardonnay has a delicate bouquet of peaches and melons with just a hint of fresh mango. It is an outstanding white wine that shows lots of depth; it would shine at any dinner party. Go Canadian!

Joie Reserve Pinot Noir

Joie (zho-wah) means joy in French and Joie Farm specializes in the grape varieties of Alsace, Burgundy and Champagne which excel in the cool-climate, desert landscape of the Naramata Bench. While ownership has changed over the years the wines have remained consistantly very good, and they wer among the first in BC to start making quality wine. 

Road 13 Sparkling

Here's a sparkling wine that well.......sparkles! Loads of citrus fruits showcasing grapefruit, lemon rind, lime zest and quince. Completing the layers of flavours on the palate is shortbread crumbs, honeysuckle, toasted almond and yeasty bakery notes from the two years of lees contact. Chenin Blanc is legendary for its racy acidity yet this one is also beautifully balanced with great length.
