Lochlea Sowing Edition 2nd Crop
$76.99
Producer Note: "Our seasonal small batch releases showcase the signature Lochlea style in four different ways each year. As a working farm, these expressions tie-in to reflect the farming calendar. In our Sowing Edition (Second Crop) for 2023 we have used 100% fresh 1st-fill ex-Bourbon barrels from higher up in the warehouse than 2022. The heat, faster maturation, and older spirit combine to show a clear progression from last year's edition."
Natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 46% abv.
Deanston 12 Year
$80.99
A robust old school styled malt from a youngish distillery (in terms of Scotch whisky, at least). And we'll forever be grateful for that bump strength.
Natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 46.3%.
Smokehead Terminado Islay Single Malt
$105.99
The latest Smokehead line extension is Terminado, a Tequila cask finished Islay single malt, reputedly from Ardbeg, bottled at 43%.
Producer Description
"Terminado brings together Smokehead Islay single malt with tequila. It’s the meeting of two restless spirits – and the awakening of a mesmerising whisky. There, in this tequila cask finish, fiery peat awakes with wild agave. Smoke mixes with chewy meringue. And citrus spins with sweetness. You ain’t tasted nothing like this before."
Wolfburn Northland Single Malt
$83.99
Matured in American Oak quarter casks. Ex-Islay casks, at that. And we all know who uses quarter casks on Islay, right? Northland is sort of the flagship expression in the Wolfburn range, and quite a dcent 'hopping on' point.
Natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 46% abv
Old & Rare Knockdhu 31 Year
$774.99
We didn't want to like this one. Let's face it, the price is high for a distillery that isn't on most folks' radar. But then we tried it. And, well... it's on our shelves. That should tell you all you need to know. Only a couple bottles available. Move fast. Trust us, you want this one.
351 bottles from a refill barrel. Currently sitting at 90.00 pts on Whiskybase.
Natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at a natural cask strength of 46.6% abv.

Natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 54.3% abv.

Wolfburn 10 Year Single Malt Scotch
$114.99
Wolfburn turns 10! We've been waiting a long time (ummm... ten years, maybe?) to see this distillery come of age. Wolfburn was a footnote in Scottish distilling history, lost 150 years ago, and little more than a pile of rubble with an immaculate water source when the decision was made to resurrect the name. Raising the old distillery from the dead was impossible, of course, but that didn't mean a new Wolfburn couldn't be commissioned onsite. Fast forward a decade and a bit, and we now have a thriving distillery in Caithness.
Seeing as this is the distillery's first 10-year-old, don't expect it to last long.
Producer Note: "A significant milestone for the Wolfburn distillery – this 10-year-old single malt is its first permanent age statement release. The whisky spent its full maturation in second-fill oloroso sherry casks resulting in a sumptuously sweet, fruit-laden profile, backed by dense oak and silky caramel."
Natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 46% abv.
