Looking for big, jammy sherried whisky? Of course you are. Everybody is. Fruit compote, rich spice, deep threads of chocolate and a surprisingly gentle nuttiness. In short, textbook shrried malt. There are only two reasons this one is priced the way it is: 1) it's an independent bottling and 2) it's a blended malt. Whisky aficionados know those things are nothing but words, however, and one taste will serve to assure that the juice in the jug is just as good as (or better than) you'd imagine.

Bouquet: Sherry prominence with secondary resinous and prune like notes. Invitingly seductive.
Palate: Well balanced fruit on a Sherry bed. Wonderfully satisfying and fulfilling.
