It’s been bottled at batch strength with an outturn of just 266 bottles. The central Perthshire town of Pitlochry sits on the banks of the River Tay and has had a distillery since 1798, making its plant one of the oldest legal whisky-making sites in Scotland."

"This is our 3rd batch, and the first commercially available 12 Year Old bottled from this distillery (there was a recent bespoke club bottling of 12 year old whiskies) Their 11 Year Old distillery release has recently been awarded English Whisky of the Year at The Wizards of Whisky Awards
The distillery was the first to produce whisky in England for over 100 years! The English Whisky Company led the new wave of English whisky makers when they released the first English single malt for more than a hundred years in 2009. Some of the best barley is grown in Norfolk, and the Breckland water is superb.
Their distillery is named ‘St. George’s’, but thea are known as The English Whisky Company - there was only one when they opened in 2006, and remained the only whisky distillery in England for some time. St George’s also the first whisky distillery Boutiquey-Dave ever visited, so he have a huge soft spot for this distillery"

"Our label design settled for just the one deer, starting with a young buck, getting older, and more dignified, as the whiskies aged, finishing with the dominant stag who has been through some scapes in his life; older, wiser, and looks a little pissed with everything! Our Speyside deer is a little more grown up this time around, and has gained a few ‘pints’ on his antlers.
"We love the expression on his face. he’s looking a little more serious this time, but mot quite a ‘Royal Stag’ yet. Boutique-y Whisky artist, Emily Chappell, has captured our brief so perfectly, and has injected her magic into it, as usual.
"The colours of the labels reflect the colour palette of the Aurora Borealis, while the ‘wave pattern’ across all of the labels symbolises the way the Aurora Borealis is always moving in the sky, if you’ve been lucky enough to see it."
