Athletes Du Vin Chenin
$36.99
Les Athlètes du Vin is a négociant project focused on value-driven wines from the Loire Valley. The idea was conceived by a group of French winemakers called Vini Be Good, who work together to distribute their wines across France. The wines are vinified by various members of the Vini Be Good network using their own grapes or grapes purchased from friends and neighbors in the Loire. The common core philosophy is that wine character first begins on the vine and that the soil is worked in such a way that grapes can draw their quintessential qualities. We are proud to present these wines made by their friends and family, as several of the cuvées are vinified by Gérard Vallée, brother of Mathieu Vallée from Château Yvonne." - Garneau Block

Maloof Oregon Where Ya PJS At?
$39.99
David Lett moved up to Oregon from California in the mid-60s after travelling the world to find the perfect place to grow his grapes. He is revered by the Oregon winemaking community as being a true pioneer, shaping what we know today as the Oregon wine industry. He planted vines, using material from UC Davis’ plant foundation services as a nursery plot in 1965, while he meticulously searched for the absolutely perfect site. Within the plant material he hauled north were 160 cuttings of pinot gris, taken from just four plants that were at the University. In 1966, he landed on a neglected 20-acre orchard in the south end of the Dundee Hills, and shortly after, the first block of The Eyrie Vineyards was laid out. With that initial plot, David had planted the very first commercial pinot gris in North America.
Through the decades, The Eyrie Vineyards has steadily been looked up to in awe from newer waves of winemakers and grape growers alike, as the institution has maintained the very pioneering spirit it had from the outset. In 2005, the operations were taken over by David’s son Jason, who continues to make some of the most exciting wines in Oregon.

Mouchao Dom Rafael White

Herdade do Mouchão was one of dozens of estates where the Reynolds family produced cork, and it is likely that there were already vines on the estate by that time.
In 1850, Robert Hunter Reynolds (son of Thomas) assumed the management of the business, and in the early 1880’s his nephew William Reynolds played a crucial role in the fight against phylloxera as President of the National Commission against Phylloxera.
Pepin Riesling
$47.99
Pepin is about establishing a network of committed winemakers. All are certified organic, respecting strict specifications and applying no synthetic pesticides, insecticides or weedkillers to their vines. The grapes are harvested by hand to promote quality, as well as the social ties, human energy and festivities that harvesting creates. After systematic maceration for reds and oranges, and occasional maceration for whites, the grapes are pressed. The juice is simply put into tanks, foudres and barrels, and then we let the wine do its own thing. Six individuals are the roots of this project: Pierre and Jean, founders of the Achillée estate in Alsace, Xavier and Pierre, consultant oenologists to over 200 winegrowers, and Arnaud and Raphaël, orchestrating the whole operation. Pépin also includes numerous partner winemakers and a team that bridges the gap from vineyards to your glass, crafting various cuvées of natural wine
