Rockwerk is a certified sustainable Grüner Veltliner hewn from the rocky soils of Lower Austria. They chose ROCK+WERK because growing vines among the rocks is precisely the "work" the of the Austrian winegrower. 

Rockwerk is comprised of 90% Traisental soil, with small components of Kremstal and Weinviertal, three of the eight wine regions found within Lower Austria. With its cool climate and limestone soil, Traisental is sometimes called the "Chablis of the Danube. " Like Chablis, the wines from here have a distinctive mineral taste. Exceptional value.
