This 1979 vintage Glenfarclas Family Cask, bottled as part of the Summer 2023 release, was matured 43 years in a 4th Fill Hogshead before bottling at 43%. A quick note on "4th Fill", Glenfarclas refers to a whisky as being 4th fill when they aren't sure how many times the cask has been used. But even if it is 3rd or 4th fill, after 43 years you can expect this to be delicate, tropical, and almost certainly gorgeous!
