Armagnac Sponge 45 Year Ed. No.3
$609.99
This 1977 vintage Bas Armagnac has been bottled by Decadent Drinks at a natural cask strength of 45.2%. 90pts WhiskyFun
Producer Description
"1977 is an excellent but super rare vintage, thanks to an unusually low harvest that year. All of which makes this wee bottling a total gem and a bit of a no-brainer for us when it came to selecting our latest Armagnac Sponge. A perfect natural strength and bags of concentrated dark fruits, honey and intricate wood spices. Luscious, decadent and something undeniably very special!"

The dominant variety in the region is Verdejo, a grape that offers crisp citrusy white wines reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc without the resounding grassiness.
