Sipsmith: the first copper pot distillery in London for nearly two hundred years! Sipsmith London Dry Gin was born out of a desire to see gin production return to the city where it earned its name. With a nod to traditional hand crafted production, their gin combines traditional copper pot distillation with a recipe that wouldn't look unfamiliar to an eighteenth century Master Distiller. London Dry Gin is the quintessential expression of a classic London Dry Gin. Bold, complex and aromatic - smooth enough for a Martini, yet rich and balanced, perfect for a G&T.
Copper Stilled in Small Batches: Every drop of alcohol that goes into a bottle of Sipsmith has been distilled in copper. Copper draws out the impurities and cleanses the spirit. It’s what makes Sipsmith spirits so incredibly smooth.
One Shot Method: One of the only gins in the world to use the “One-Shot Method”, meaning we use exactly the right amount of botanicals in our distillation so that we only need to add water to bring it down to bottling strength. 99% of gins are made using a concentrate which is diluted with neutral grain spirit and water. This neutral alcohol has had no contact with copper nor the botanicals so it produces a harsher, less balanced gin.
Hand Cut: We only ever retain a tight heart cut (the highest quality) of the liquid which is cut by hand. Much like a fine single malt, it’s what delivers our uncompromising quality of spirit.

From September 2005 OUZO12 is distilled and produced in the Koutsikos’ distillery in Volos (Central Greece), an area famous for its Ouzo and Tsipouro. The history of Koutsikos’ distillery is interesting too. It begins in 1889, with the establishment of the 1st distillery. This distillery was meant to create a memorable name in the history of Greek industry. The Koutsikos brandy became quickly a famous drink all over Greece. At the same time Koutsikos developed the production of Ouzo and liquors that became soon popular, especially Ouzo Koutsikos and flavoured liquors (mint , orange, cherry).
In 2004 Gruppo Campari, the OUZO12 Brand owner, acquired Koutsikos’ factory and launched an intense investment program in order to upgrade distillery, to meet OUZO12 demands and high quality standards.
Recipe and Quality Process
OUZO 12 is made with the authentic recipe of the Kalogiannis brothers, who first distilled it in Constantinople in 1880, OUZO12 derives from a unique blend where fine seeds and herbs are harmoniously combined . A unique Ouzo, a product of double distillation, for which 16 different distillery pots are used, before it is poured in our glass.
