Whisky Agency Macduff 2011 53.2%
$199.99
Decently sherried MacDuff from Hogshead #900354. This one had an outturn of just 388 bottles. 88pts on Whiskybase!
Natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 53.2% abv.
Whisky Agency Croftengea 2006
$199.99
Croftengea is one of the many colorful streams flowing from the stills at Loch Lomond. Fair warning: this is from the heavily peated end of the spectrum. A neat variant on a spirit that seems to be very much in vogue lately. This one spent 16 years in a Hogshead, before being bottled in 2022.
Natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 52.2% abv.
Whisky Agency Bruichladdich 2004
$434.99
We don't see a lot (or nearly enough, anyway) independent Bruichladdich releases. Nice to see something in a more restrained style and with a decent amount of age on it. Ex-Bourbon matured 18-year-old whisky, limited to just a handful of bottles.
Natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 51.3% abv.
Whisky Agency Bowmore 1996
$1,154.99
26-year-old Bowmore. Probably not much need to say more. This won't last. Only 128 bottles from a Hogshead. 89.63pts on Whiskybase!
Natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 49.9% abv.
