The Distillery was the first to be built in Lexington for more than a century, when stills were installed in on the site in 2008. Town Branch is made from a mash bill consisting of 72% Corn, 15% Malted Rye, and 13% Malted Barley. It is bottled at 45% ABV.

"It’s an unnamed George Dickel Tennessee Sour Mash Bourbon. Distilled in 2016, matured in a brand spanking new, splinter-proffering, vanillin-drenched American oak barrel that has been charred within an inch of its life! It spent three years in the frankly outrageous temperatures of Tennessee, before cooling off for a further five years in Scotland.
"We got hold of it and bottled it at 8 years of age, with several degrees reduction down to our favorite bottling strength of 57.1% (or 114.2 proof when translated into American). The mashbill for this luscious wood smoothie is: 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley. We love the result, it’s juicy, fruity and goes down like warm, expensive varnish!"
