Wolfburn Morven Single Malt 46%
$79.99
Wolfburn Morven is a lightly peated single malt bottled at 46% from the Northernmost mainland distillery in Scotland.
Producer Description
"This lightly peated whisky is made from malted barley infused with smoke during the drying process. The flavour imparted by the smoke is a reflection of Wolfburn’s history – the original 19th Century distillery was largely fired by peat. Gentle distillation is followed by maturation in our purpose-built warehouses. The result is a beautifully smooth and rounded whisky."
GlenAllachie 18 Year Old
$229.99
The GlenAllachie 18-year-old is back, in new livery... but little else has changed... it is still bottled at 46% after maturing in American oak ex-Bourbon and ex Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks.
Producer Description
"This opulent Scotch whisky was patiently perfected in the finest oak casks for 18 long years. Silently slumbering in our on-site warehouses, the spirit underwent continual monitoring until Billy Walker deemed it had reached its pinnacle.
"With enticing aromas of honey and mocha, followed by marzipan and dark cherry tones on the palate, it’s a single malt oozing elegant refinement.
"We proudly present The GlenAllachie 18-year-old with integrity; at a high strength of 46%, without added colouring or chill filtration, allowing the unpeated whisky’s true character to reign supreme."
Old Pulteney Huddart
$89.99
The most curious whisky in the distillery's new core range, Huddart is bottled at 46% after finishing in casks which previously matured heavily peated single malts.
Producer's Description
"A distinctively smoky take on Old Pulteney celebrating our birthplace. Richly warming, this single malt embraces a mellow smoky character, whilst very much Old Pulteney at its heart. The combination of influence from the salt-infused sea air and the peat smoke make for a whisky with real character, depth and identity. With a richness extending into its rich gold colour, this single malt offers much in terms of complexity and flavour while subtly reminding us of the place where Old Pulteney began."
Port Askaig 45 Year Old Islay
$2,039.99
This ancient Islay single malt is exclusive to KWM. Bottled from a marriage of 5 sherry butts and bottled at a precariously low cask strength of 40.8%. Believed to be Bunnahabhain, the whisky scored 90pts from Whisky Fun in 2014, but in 2019 he upped his score to 91pts, which I still feel is low. This is old school tropical whisky!
Producer Description
"Matured in five sherry butts, this expression was distilled in 1968 and bottled at a cask strength of 40.8%. Port Askaig 45 Year Old is an old Islay style that is almost completely lost today. Fruit driven, with next to no smoke and with an abundance of tropical fruits such as mangoes and papayas, this is a very rare whisky and one to be savoured. "
Equinox & Solstice Aberfeldy 10 Year
$195.99

"This year’s Autumn Edition of Equinox & Solstice is a small batch mix of two refill barrels of Aberfeldy, both filled in 2013 and bottled at 10 years of age at this series’ trademark drinking strength of 48.5%. This is a robust and characterful dram that showcases Aberfeldy’s typically ‘fuller bodied’ highland profile. Dry, mineral and waxy with bags of rich cereal character and a gentle biscuity sweetness underneath. Perfect warming whisky for Autumn.
