Macallan Harmony Honey Orchid Tea 43.9%
$374.99
The 5th release in the Macallan Harmony Collection was bottled at 43.9% after maturing in Sherry and Bourbon casks.
Producer Description
"An exquisite single malt whisky matured in a combination of sherry seasoned European and American oak casks, with a subtle inclusion of casks that previously held bourbon. This whisky is inspired by JING's Phoenix Honey Orchid, a complex tea with lush dessert wine aromas and exotic fruit notes.
"Predominantly matured in sherry seasoned American oak casks, the whisky has drawn fruity and floral flavours, beautifully balanced by the inclusion of sherry seasoned European oak, which offers a pleasing roasted richness and a touch of astringency. The subtle inclusion of casks that previously held bourbon adds a final sweetness, emulating the dessert wine aromas found in this tea that inspires this single malt."
