Producer Description
"Candlekitty is our top secret, hush hush, mum's the word, need to know basis only, if I told you I'd have to kill you, code name for Clynelish. This Candlekitty was filled into a refill barrel in 2010, where it dozed and purred lazily for 15 years, until we bottled it with a few degrees reduction at 55%. It's waxy, lemony, fat and deliciously all about the distillate."

$62.99
The Woodford Reserve was featured on Day 22 of our 2021 KWM Whisky Calendar
Woodford Reserve is made from a combination of the triple distilled Bourbon made at Woodford blended with Shively/Louisville's Brown-Forman Distillery plant which uses a column still. This means there is likely some shared DNA between this and the Old Forester Bourbon - even beyond both whisky brands being owned by the same family company. 45.2%
Basil Hayden Bourbon
$67.99
Basil Hayden Bourbon is made by Jim Beam Distillery. It is created using the high-rye Old Grand Dad mash bill, which purportedly contains about 27% Rye in the mash. Bottled at 40%.
When Basil Hayden Sr. began distilling his smooth bourbon in 1796, the state of Kentucky was only 4 years old and George Washington was president of the United States! Hayden was born and raised in Maryland, where he learned to make whiskey from rye. When he came to Kentucky, Hayden began making whiskey from a base of corn, but added a higher percentage of rye than other distillers, resulting in a smooth, mild bourbon that was distinctly his own.
Rebel Kentucky Straight Bourbon
$41.99
This wheated bourbon left Billy Idol crying more, more, more and purportedly used to be a favourite of both Keith Richards and Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones.
