Derives its name from the Hindi word for orange. Barrels were filled with sherry and orange peels for three years. The barrels were then filled with 3 year old whisky which was left to mature a further three years. 50%
From the Distillery: "The whisky is not dominated by the Orange but remarkably balanced out", notes Ashok Chokalingam, GM International Markets, Amrut. "The finish is of subtle orange notes while in the middle ground you can find the traditional Amrut signature."
