SMWS DUNNAGE NOUGAT
$112.79
DUNNAGE NOUGAT
What a tale of oak and fire we have here for this 9 year old small batch single malt! We selected a wonderfully fruity Speyside single malt, which was maturing in bourbon hogsheads. We moved the whisky into a variety of custom coopered casks. In American oak we had new oak hogsheads made with a heavy toast and a medium char, and new oak barriques with a heavy toast (no char) and a medium plus toast (a little lighter, again no char). In French oak we opted for barriques in the same toasting specifications as the American barriques.

Equinox & Solstice Caol Ila 11 Year
$234.99
This 2013 Caol Ila was bottled at 48.5% after 11 years in a Second Fill European Oak Oloroso Sherry Hogshead.
Producer Description
"This year’s Autumn Edition of Equinox & Solstice is a single, second fill European oak Oloroso sherry hogshead of 2013 Caol lla, bottled at 11 years of age and reduced to this series’ trademark easy drinking strength of 48.5%.
"We think Autumn is a time when whiskies start to need to be a bit punchier and more powerful. Warming drams that work outdoors or indoors, but which are always sociable and easy to share. This Caol Ila was a perfect example of that style. Gently sherried, robustly peaty, drying, clean and superbly fresh and invigorating. It’s hipflask ready and perfect for Autumn."
Clermont Steep American Single Malt
$79.99
Bottled at 47%, this is Jim Beam's first foray into the American Single Malt Whiskey category. Freddie Noe, the master distiller known Little Book series and the famous Booker Noe's grandson, is responsible for this 5 Year Old Single Malt.
Producer Description
"We took almost a decade to develop Clermont Steep, our first American Single Malt Whiskey. In a new-to-world, fast growing category, Freddie Noe started this experiment like he does with everything: right at home. Freddie reminisced about baking bread with his Granddaddy. There’s nostalgia in every sip of this category-defining liquid.
He started with a combination of Distiller’s barley and gold pilsner barley, and our trademark jug yeast to create the base of what would become our first ever American Single Malt whiskey. He then made an innovative, category-leading choice to age the barrels in a level 1 charred, new oak barrel to create a perfect environment to age our liquid. After 5 years, he had created a masterpiece that would make his grandaddy proud."

GrainHenge Elevator Row Whisky II
$109.99
The second release of GranHenge's Elevator Row New World Single Malt Whisky is bottled at 48.2% ABV after 6 years maturing in #2 and #4 char virgin oak casks. It is made from a mash bill containing 2 row barley malted to a Dark Munich style - the same malt spec that is used for Troubled Monk Distillery's Pesky Pig Pale Ale.
Producer Description
"Elevator Row’s flavour profile is informed from the malty backbone of our pale ale, Pesky Pig, named after the same little piggy that never went to market. This 43 month old, cask strength whisky lets the speciality malt of Pesky Pig rise to fame and shine. When head distiller, Garret Haynes, rewrote this recipe for distillation, he used Pesky Pig’s mash bill for inspiration, tripling the speciality dark munich malt so notes of golden raisin, and dried fruits would sing in the finished spirit."
