Compass Box Celestial
$434.99
This is the fourth and final release in the Compass Box Extinct Blends Quartet, which celebrates - or laments - the blends of decades' past which are no longer available. Celestial draws on peated whisky from Ardbeg and Caol Ila, which are always good malts to build around. Malt from Pulteney and grain from Port Dundas and Cameronbridge are also in the mix along with prior Compass Box blends and other assorted magic, courtesy of Blender James Saxon. Bottled at 51%.
Producer Description
"Our latest and last in the Extinct Blends Quartet Celestial takes to the sky through billowing clouds and glittering constellations, inspired by a whisky from the 1960s with both an extravagant flavour profile and an equine theme. The peatiest of the Extinct Blends Quartet, and our most expansive, Celestial offers a depth of flavour and maturity that has become the series’ hallmark.
Celestial accentuates the smokiness of its forebear, drawing on malt whiskies from the Ardbeg and Caol Ila distilleries, two parcels we previously brought together six years ago for the original No Name."

Bottled at 40% with a terrifying label in a copper bottle inspired by the stills which crap the spirit, or something like that. Blended Scotch Whisky at 40%.
Producer Description
"The Deacon is a masterful blend of both smoky Speyside and peaty Islay malt whiskies, making for a complex, rich, and smoky dram. In our blend, the single malts from Islay have a characteristic peaty smoke flavour, while the single malts from the mainland have a bonfire-like smoke character."
Nomad Outland Whisky
$54.99
It seems this one is the brainchild of Richard Paterson (Whye & MacKay) and Antonio Flores (Gonalez Byass). When alcohol is involved, you never know what's going to happen, right? A few drinks, a bit of amorous chat, and suddenly - surprise! - there's a wee offspring that's got a little bit of both parties in it (though it seems neither can properly make any sort of claim). Bottled at 41.3%.
Producer Description
"NOMAD begins its journey in the cradle of Speyside whisky (Scotland), to continue maturing in Jerez, in the Gonzalez Byass sherry casks in their legendary cellars, thus going beyond the rules. The first 6 years will be spent in bourbon casks in Scotland, and then, the liquid will travel to Jerez where it will remain for 1 more year in old Pedro Ximénez casks.
NOMAD is the only Outland Whisky ® that completes its maturation in the unique microclimate of Jerez, under the different temperature and wind changes that this city has. The Angel's Share that this confers to the liquid is 5% versus 1.5% in its place of origin, in Scotland. This great difference gives Nomad its unique personality and its unmatched rarity."

Cadenhead 7 Stars Blended Scotch Whisky
$71.99
An exceptional blend from Cadenhead. Bottled at 46%
Producer Description
"Cadenhead’s 7-Stars is an historic Blended Scotch Whisky, originally bottled many decades ago to demonstrate that exquisite whisky could be created by blending carefully selected casks from the vast array of stock we owned in our warehouses.
Our traditions and methods haven’t changed and so we have resurrected 7-Stars using whisky from distilleries all over Scotland. The blend is then finished in Oloroso sherry casks – giving it a bolder, yet well balanced, flavour."
