Breaking & Entering American Whiskey is crafted by St George Spirits of Alameda, California. It is a blend of Rye and Bourbon sourced from both Kentucky and Tennessee along with St George Distillery's own whiskey that they produce in house. Bottled at 45% ABV.
St George Distillery has been in operation since 1982 and produces a variety of different spirits, including Gin, Eau de vies, Absinthe, and Whiskey.

George Dickel No. 12 Tennessee Whiskey

The No. 12 is a high corn mash (84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% barley) Bourbon/Tennessee Whiskey produced by the Cascade Hollow Distillery of Cascade Hollow, Tennessee. The distillery was formerly named the George Dickel Distillery until it was changed in 2018.
Being a Tennessee Whiskey, George Dickel is put through the Lincoln County Process, where the new make spirit is filtered through sugar maple, charcoal before being put into barrels. Apparently, the Cascade Hollow distillery goes a step beyond just using this as a filtration/mellowing method and actually lets the new make steep for a period of time in the charcoal before running it through.
The George Dickel brand and Cascade Hollow Distillery are owned by Diageo, which is the largest spirits maker in the world, also owns the Bulleit and IW Harper brands of Bourbon, to name a few. Even the company would likely admit they are currently playing catchup in American Whiskey right now though, as it’s only Bourbon Distillery just recently started operations.
Sazerac Rye

This whiskey is produced at the scenic Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. This is not a single barrel but a small batch from the mixing of a very small group of barrels. The design of the bottle is reminiscent of pre Civil War days when barrels of whisky were poured into ornately engraved decanters supplied by the distiller. While the label is now silkscreened the shape is reminiscent of the style. This rye will change anyone's mind about rye whiskey for the better!
Distiller's Tasting Note: "Aromas of clove, vanilla, anise and pepper. Subtle notes of candies spices and citrus. The big finish is smooth with hints of licorice."
Knob Creek Single Barrel

This is Knob's Creek's Kentucky Bourbon kicked up a notch, bottled at 60% and from a single cask. Each barrel will vary a little from the next. As each cask is unique, so is the whisky from each. Produced by Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont, Kentucky - the Single Barrel version of Knob Creek is 9 Years of age or older and is bottled at 60% ABV. Like the Knob Creek Small Batch, the Single Barrel version purportedly uses Jim Beam's 'Low Rye" mash bill of about 75% Corn, 13% Rye, and 12% Barley.

This big and spicy throwback from Redemption, however, hearkens back to an age when rye was king. We're not talking about the drink we Canadians like to call 'rye' (usually corn); we're talking right proper rye grain distillate. The mashbill on this weighty little number from Indiana's MGP distillery is 95% rye and 5% malted barley. You know what that means, right? Spice, spice, spice! And while it really does work well in high end cocktails, the sharp pristine grain here is best sipped neat from a good whisky glass.
