This limited-edition Bourbon, called "The Happy Warrior" is aged up to 7 years and finished in French Oak Ex-Brandy Casks seasoned with brandy made from Long Island Grapes. This "high rye" whiskey is bottled at 57% and produced from a mashbill of 60% Corn, 35% Rye, 5% Malted Barley.

"Once a year, Long Island Spirits hand selects 5 our finest aged Bourbon Barrels and bottles fewer than a couple of hundred cases per batch. This high-rye straight bourbon whisky is aged between 4 and 7 years prior to receiving additional maturation in French Oak casks from local wineries that have been rinsed with high proof brandy. When the perfect flavor and balance are achieved, Happy Warrior is bottled straight from cask at 114 proof. Extremely limited releases are selected from the finest casks in the barrel warehouse."

This high-rye Bonded Bourbon from New Riff Distillery of Newport, Kentucky is made from a mash of 65% Corn, 30% Rye, and 5% Malted Barley. Bottled at 50% ABV. Since it is Bottled in Bond, it adheres to these rules, which were put in place by the Bottled In Bond Act in 1897:
- All whiskey in the bottle must be produced by one distillery and by one distiller over the course of one distillation season.
- The whiskey must be at least four years old.
- It must be bottled at least 100 proof / 50% ABV
- The whiskey must be aged in bonded warehouses under United States federal supervision.
- The label on the bottle has to state which distillery it comes from and also where it was bottled.

New Riff Distillery of Newport, Kentucky produces both Bourbon and Rye. This is there Bonded Rye, which is made from a mash of 100% Rye Grain (95% unmalted and 5% malted). Bottled at 50% ABV. As a Bonded Rye Whiskey, it has to adhere to the following rules as laid down in the Bottled In Bond Act of 1897:

We don't get much of this heirloom Rye Whiskey from New Riff, but we are glad to grab what we can! The special Bottled In Bond Balboa Rye is made from a mash containing 95% Rye with the very same name.

"In addition to our flagship New Riff Bourbon and Rye, our distilling team has stretched their creative muscles over the years, producing a number of what we call "specialty whiskeys". Balboa Rye is one of the first specialties we made. Our corn farmer Charles Fogg has been growing heirloom rye on his family's farm for many years. His chosen variety was Balboa rye, an heirloom grain which dates back to the 1940s as a rye variety popular in Indiana. He offered it to us and we distilled it into rye whiskey, probably the first time in decades that Balboa has been made into whiskey and quite surely the only example on the market today.
Now it has grown up in the barrel! Typical of heirloom rye, the Balboa grain is a little smaller than modern varieties, with a lower output per acre of planting -- but it's no less flavorful for that! Our Balboa Rye whiskey offers shimmering notes of spiced fruit unique from our flagship New Riff Rye."

The fact that this whiskey is sourced is not a bad thing regardless - Penelope has quickly developed a reputation for being masterful blenders of the barrels they purchase, including with this Four Grain Bourbon. Indeed: the Indiana distillery this hails from doesn't actually have a four grain Bourbon Mash Bill. Instead, Penelope purposefully blends casks from two different mash bills together (one set containing rye in the mash and the other set using wheat as the secondary grain) to create this Four Grain Bourbon.

Distilled and produced by St George Spirits of California, The Baller Single Malt Whiskey is an homage to the Japanese style. The whiskey is finished in casks that previously held Umeshu/Plum Liqueur that was also made at St. George Spirits. Bottled at 47%.
About The Label
"Distiller Lance Winters did the art direction for the label, which re-imagines the legend of St. George as a samurai. The original watercolor on the front label was by Oakland artist Sylvia Solochek Walters, done to emulate woodcut. The calligraphy was done by Eri Takase of Takase Studios."
Barrell Craft Stellum Bourbon

Barrell Craft Spirits have decided to create a less limited Rye and Bourbon under the name Stellum. The Bourbon is bottled at a very respectable 57.49% and is a blend of Bourbon casks sourced from distilleries in Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. The barrels of whiskey used to create the Stellum Bourbon are purported to be between 4 to 16 Years old.
Barrell Craft Spirits is an independent bottler and do not have their own distillery, but they have made quite the name for itself by releasing some great Bourbon, Rye, and American Whiskey over the past few years.

The Musician is a Bourbon made by Still Austin Whiskey Co from a mash of 100% Texas-grown grain. The exact mash bill for The Musician Bourbon is 70% White Corn, 25% Rye, and 5% Malted Barley. The whiskey was matured as is typical, using heavily charred virgin oak casks.
This is the cask strength version of the regular Still Austin Texas Bourbon, aged for at least two years. It is bottled at 58% ABV.
Still Austin Distillery resides in Austin, Texas, and was founded in 2015. What sets Still Austin apart from other craft distilleries is its 42-foot tall column still dubbed Nancy, which was crafted by Forsyth's of Scotland.
