Glenfarclas 15 Year
$134.99
A stalwart classic Speyside single malt, from one of Scotland's oldest family owned distilleries. Matured in Ex-Sherry and bottled at 46%. The 15 year is the flagship malt in the Glenfarclas core range, and also a favourite of both KWM customers and staff!
Signatory Glen Ord 2009 16 Year Old
$194.99
If the batch number is the same as Mario Lemieux's jersey number, it must be good. Right? This Glen Ord (Glen Ord is a distillery, not a former NHL hockey player. I checked to make sure.) was distilled in 2016 and matured in 1st Fill and 2nd Fill ex-Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads and Butts. It is bottled at 100 British Proof, or 57.1% ABV.
Arran 18 Year
$224.99
The 18 year old Arran was added to the distillery's core range in 2016 for its 21st anniversary. Bottled at 46%, un-Chillfiltered and with no colouring added, the Arran 18 year old is created predominantly from carefully selected first and second-fill Ex-Sherry casks. Rich, fruity with some soft spices in style, the 18 year year old Arran represents a great value for its age. The new packaging looks good, but I still love the old one! #torn The current release was bottled 05/09/25.
Ardbeg Uigeadail
$133.99
This Ardbeg, pronounced (pronounced ‘Oog-a-dal’), is a mariage of ex-Bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It takes it's name from the mysterious Loch that also happens to be Ardbeg Distillery's water source. It is bottled at 54.2%, but is still very approachable and savoury with the melding of sherry notes to Ardbeg's classic style.
Kilchoman Machir Bay
$92.99
This bottle was featured on Day 23 of our 2022 KWM Whisky Calendar
Also available in 50ml / Mini bottles
Machir Bay was the first edition of the Kilchoman core range, and it remains a staple. Matured in First Fill Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks, the whisky has been getting older as the distillery's inventory matures. Bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtering.
Nikka Coffey Malt 45%
$94.99
Note: Nikka's own website notes that this bottle does not meet the criteria to be called a Japanese Whisky. The good news is that might mean it also contains Ben Nevis Single Malt, as the Ben Nevis Distillery is also owned by Nikka.
It is unusual to see single malt whisky distilled in a column (AKA continuous or Coffey) still, but here you have it and the result is superb. Formerly exclusive to KWM in Alberta, this is one hell of an interesting dram, soft, layered and very complex.
The sugar yield of malted barley compared with corn and wheat is not favourable, especially when you take the cost of malting and corn subsidies into account. So the Nikka Whisky Co. must have some other designs than simply creating bulk whisky by running barley through their Coffey stills.
Glendronach 2013 10 Year for Canada
$59.99
Bottled exclusively for Canada, this 10 Year Old GlenDronach was distilled in 2013. It was matured in a combination of ex-PX Sherry and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks, then bottled at 43%.

Amrut's innovative Spectrum is back... Bottled at 50% the whisky is initially matured in ex-Bourbon before finishing in custom casks made with new American Oak, new French Oak, ex-Oloroso and ex-PX Sherry staves.
Producer Description

The aforementioned barrel has equal proportions of all four kinds of staves are ranged in a one after-the-other manner lending their own characteristics and complexities to the malt coming into its own on the nose and the palate."
