This Tullibardine was matured in American oak and matured for 12 months in Sherry Butts before bottling at 43%. It is one of the three wood finshes in the core Tullibardine range.
Tullibardine located in the southern Highland town of Blackford, just north of Perth, was the first distillery built in Scotland after World War II. The distillery sits on the site of a series of breweries which date back more than 500 years. In 1488 King James IV, then aged 14, paid a visit to a brewery in Blackford to purchase beer for his coronation.

It is now headed by Florence Castarede, who is the sixth generation of the Castarède family in charge of the Armagnac house. The vineyards are in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac region and are planted with a variety of grapes: Folle Blache, Colombard and Saint-Emillion. Castarede Armagnacs then get aged in black oak barrels in the family's ancient cellars, before a little bit finds its way to Canada for fans like us!

In 1997 Bulleit was bought by Seagram, and is now distilled in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Following an acquisition of Seagram, the Bulleit brand is now owned by Diageo. This Kentucky Straight Bourbon has been matured at least 6 years, and is bottled at a strength of 45%. It is made from at least 30% rye grain, giving it a rich, deep flavour.

Founded in 1866, Bests' is a family-owned and operated winery with some of the oldest and rarest vines in the world. One of the great things about this Great Western Chard is the fact that the grapes come from some of the earliest plantings of Chardonnay in Australia. They are grown on a deep gravel hill with a west-facing slope and what this means is low yields and great intense flavors. After pressing, the wine spent 8 months in 30% new French oak barriques and achieved 30% malolactic fermentation with plenty of lees contact to encourage a rich, complex and textured wine. Aromas of flint and stone fruit are followed by rich and complex notes on the palate yet it remains elegant and subtle.
