This brew was built on a rich malt bill of flaked wheat and oats, giving it a smooth, silky body with a hint of sweetness. The star ingredient was a unique lot of Nelson Sauvin hops from Freestyle Hops in New Zealand. Grown in a region with its own distinct soil and climate, these hops bring bold tropical fruit and gooseberry aromas. The result is one of the most distinctive flavour profiles we’ve ever crafted.

Upon its release, Open Road brought home Silver in the World Beer Cup in Philadelphia for American Brown Ales. This beer really brings things all together: malt and hops, balancing flavours similar to roasting coffee. Residual sugars that weren’t broken down by the yeast during fermentation give it a sweeter taste like Snickers in a glass—nutty and chocolaty. Open Road is for those looking for something a little darker and malt-forward. Pumpernickel bread and raisins dominate the palate but finish with chocolate, while the hops lend just a hint of citrus and pine to balance out the sweetness of this easy-drinking dark beer."

"7.3% ABV — Fruitful Pursuits: Apple 2024 is a blend of 1, 2 & 3 year Mixed and Spontaneous Fermentation barrels. Made working closely with our friends at Uncommon Cider, we used an exciting combination of Ambrosia, Granny Smith and Macintosh apples grown by Steve & Dan’s Fresh BC Fruit. Using the whole fruit highlights the full depth of apple character, resulting in a blend with bright, floral, and ripe apple flavours and aromas, with coating tannins from the skin and tart, drying and juicy acidity, evoking a champagne-esque experience. We hope you like it!."
