Sometimes (most times) 40% ABV gin just isn't enough. You don't want it to get lost in the tonic, after all! That is why we all need a navy strength gin. Botanicals used in the Legbiter Gin include Pink Peppercorn, Hibiscus, Coriander, Angelica, Almond, Liquorice, Cassia, Orris, and, of course, Juniper. Bottled at a robust 57% ABV.
Beinn An Turic Distillery is located on Lephincorrach Farm, about 12 miles north of Campbeltown. It was established in 2016.

"A navy strength gin, bottled at 57% ABV, Tarbert Legbiter packs a punch but this aromatic spirit is wonderfully smooth and flavoursome. The nose is light with delicate floral notes, warming into gentle spice and pine aromas.
We named our navy strength spirit after a Kintyre Legend – Magnus Barelegs, King of Norway in 1093, who claimed Kintyre as his own by circumnavigating the peninsula. He refused to let the isthmus at Tarbert ruin his plan – he simply had his boat dragged across and declared Kintyre an island. Legbiter was the name of his sword and is a fitting moniker for our navy strength gin."

This 14 year old "medium peated" Glen Scotia was bottled at 56.8% after finishing in ex-Barolo Wine Casks. The second release in the Icons of Campbeltown Series, is in honour of the famous Campbeltown Cross.

"Release No.2, the second in the Icons of Campbeltown series is inspired by the marking depicting Saint Michael, the courageous Archangel, who heroically slayed a fire-breathing dragon with his spear. To celebrate the mythical tale, we have released this unique medium peated 14 year old single malt whisky. The bold maritime salinity and smoky peat are beautifully balanced by the wonderful sweetness of candied red fruits, enriched after six months in the finest ex-Barolo red wine casks.

Glent Toon is a moniker for Glen Scotia, a distillery in the "Wee Toon", aka Campbeltown. This 8 Year Old Glen Scotia is bottled at 57.1% and is the result of one 2014 first fill hoggy filled with unpeated Glen Toon put together with one 2016 first fill barrel of peated Glen Toon.

"This is Decadent Drams 'Glen Toon' 8 Year Old. We made it by mixing together a 2014 1st fill hogshead of unpeated Glen Toon with a 2016 1st fill barrel of peated Glen Toon. The resulting multi-vintage small batch was bottled with a few degrees reduction at 57.1%. This is a terrific take on this famous Campbeltown distillate that preserves all of its usual funk and rich charisma, but with a balanced layer of peat and lots of juicy sweetness."
