A touch of botrytis adds richness, complementing the minerally, white pepper finish.

Mission Hill grows Riesling grapes in vineyards throughout the Okanagan, including a plot just below the winery on the slope of Mount Boucherie. Osoyoos Larose is a joint venture between Vincor and the big Bordeaux wine company, Groupe Taillan, whose major French property is Château Gruaud Larose. A blend of five grapes featuring Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich, lively aromas of black currant, plum, vanilla, chocolate and spice, all of which are echoed in the flavours. It's medium-bodied and all-Canadian.

World-renowned wine critic Jancis Robinson named the Nichol Vineyard Syrah among her top 25 in BC when she visited the region in 2009. We agree! The first Syrah was planted at the estate in 1989, and the balance of the site's 5.5 acres were planted in 1990. The wine that comes from these vineyards is full-bodied, with red to dark berry, damson plum and sage notes. One that should age quite nicely, too!

Nota Bene is Black Hills signature red wine - a Bordeaux style blend of Merlot plus the Cabernet grapes' Sauvignon and Franc. This sumptuous, complex red comes from a record-breaking long, hot vintage, and it has notes of black cherries and vanilla.
The 2022 vintage is made up of 46% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 18% Cabernet Franc that spent 18 months in French Oak barriques and puncheons (47% new oak) before being bottled.

This is apparently a take on a Berliner weisse but you'd never know. This is matured on more raspberries than you can shake a stick at and pours a deep, rich red with aromas of pure raspberry juice. Tart and zippy acidity with a dry finish. When this is in the store, it's only here for a limited time. May be a purchasing limit!
WhistlePig 10 Year 100% Rye Whiskey

This whisky is not without some controversy. Like a lot of 100% rye whiskies bottled in the States, Pendleton and Mastersons to name a few Whistle Pigs origins are here in Calgary at Alberta Distillers. In order to get rye grains to ferment, you require at least some malted rye or barley. Alberta Distillers is one of the few places in the world where a straight rye mash is distilled.
