Chateau Faugeres 2015
$110.99
The flagship of the Vignobles Silvio Denz portfolio, Château Faugeres consists of 42 homogeneous hectares of some of the most beautiful terroir in St.-Émilion. The vines are located on the appellation’s limestone plateau, composed of calcareous soil on asteriated limestone dating from the Lower Oligocene, and on south-south-east facing clay-limestone slopes in a cirque, made up of calcareous soil on clay-limestone molasse from the Upper Eocene and Oligocene.
Silvio Denz set himself the objective of bringing out the best in this exceptional terroir by monitoring Château FAUGÈRES’ vines as closely as possible with his team. This has required time, work and meticulous care to accompany the growth cycle and achieve optimal ripening.
Chateau Clinet Pomerol
$239.99
Nestled in the middle of the illustrious Pomerol region of Bordeaux, Chateau Clinet shares the same praiseworthy terroir with world-renowned producers like Petrus, Chateau Lafleur, and Chateau Le Pin. The best Chateaux from this appellation craft are extremely fine, velvety, and rich Merlot-based wines, and Chateau Clinet is no exception. The phenomenal winemaking team at Clinet (which includes the talented Michel Rolland) has been relentless in their pursuit to make wine that challenges even the greatest Pomerol producers.
Chateau Lagrange 2014
$121.99
After a long period of mediocrity, Château Lagrange was purchased by Japanese liquor giant Suntory in 1983 with Marcel Ducasse as directeur général and winemaker. He restored the chateau to it's once great status, and the wines are now first rate, once again.

Nomad Outland Whisky
$54.99
It seems this one is the brainchild of Richard Paterson (Whye & MacKay) and Antonio Flores (Gonalez Byass). When alcohol is involved, you never know what's going to happen, right? A few drinks, a bit of amorous chat, and suddenly - surprise! - there's a wee offspring that's got a little bit of both parties in it (though it seems neither can properly make any sort of claim). Bottled at 41.3%.
Producer Description
"NOMAD begins its journey in the cradle of Speyside whisky (Scotland), to continue maturing in Jerez, in the Gonzalez Byass sherry casks in their legendary cellars, thus going beyond the rules. The first 6 years will be spent in bourbon casks in Scotland, and then, the liquid will travel to Jerez where it will remain for 1 more year in old Pedro Ximénez casks.
NOMAD is the only Outland Whisky ® that completes its maturation in the unique microclimate of Jerez, under the different temperature and wind changes that this city has. The Angel's Share that this confers to the liquid is 5% versus 1.5% in its place of origin, in Scotland. This great difference gives Nomad its unique personality and its unmatched rarity."
