Full bodied but easy drinking, this little number was dry hopped with a heavy dose of Talus and Lotus. What starts off as a classic light IPA gives way to a crescendo of citrus, ripe tropical fruit and pleasing notes of pine."

Chateau Montus is one of two estates led by Alain Brumont, one of the leading vignerons in Madiran. Alain Brumont bought Château Montus in 1980, on the basis of the terroir's reputation in the 18th century. With its large reddish pebbles, this terroir is one of the last traces of the beginning of the Pyrenees, dating back 40 million years. Today's Pyrenees deposit large black pebbles marbled with white in our rivers. Montus comes from steep slopes (20-40%) fully south-facing, intense sunshine, covered with large pebbles on yellow and red clay subsoil.

It's 100% Godello from Galicia, Spain, and this winemaker is producing some of the most sought-after white wines in the country.
Rafael Palacios As Sortez

As Sortes is made from old vines that are located within six parcels in the northern end of the Bibei Valley that were planted in the late 1970s and early 1980s. These parcels are worked organically with some elements of biodynamics as well. The grapes are fermented and aged in mostly used 500 L oak barrels for 8 months. It's very rare and is a contender for one of Spain's finest white wines.

This blend of one, two, three and four year old mixed-fermentation barrels is a collision of two worlds: old world East Kent Goldings and new world Amarillo. The result is juicy grapefruit, tropical starfruit, and marmalade hop character balanced by a full, round texture and medium-high acidity."
