Spier began as an old Stellenbosch wine farm with a long and winding history, and many twists and bends in the road. Regenerative farming and pioneering environmental and social initiatives make them who they are. The label is a symbol for top terroir-driven wines and we’ve been named South African Producer of the Year by the International Wine & Spirit Competition - twice!

Seaward grapes are selected from South Africa’s top coastal areas, growing in a narrow band close to the cold Atlantic ocean and the temperate waters of False Bay. Such terroir provides what you might call a perfect storm - with barely any human intervention needed to produce outstanding harvests for our winemakers, every year. This wine offers aromas of citrus, lime, peach and honeydew. The palate is complex with ripe fruit and a fresh lime finish. Vegan friendly.
