Kilchoman Maury Cask Matured 2026
$124.99
This Kilchoman was fully matured in Maury AOC sweet wine casks from Roussillon in France, bottled at 50%.
Producer Description & Tasting Note
"The Maury Cask Matured limited edition is not a finish, the whisky was aged for the full term of its maturation in ex-Maury fortified wine casks. Maury is a sweet, fortified wine from the Roussillon region of southern France, made primarily from Grenache noir grapes. The time the whisky has spent maturing in these wine casks, has added layers of dates, raisins and dark honey sweetness which balance beautifully with the natural peat smoke and citrus sweetness of Kilchoman."

From the Distiller
The place where matter meets art, and art meets spirit
"J.Rose was born in an artisans' workshop in the heart of Salento. Here, from the vision of Affreschi & Affreschi, what had seemed unthinkable for centuries became possible: freeing the fresco from the walls and giving it a new form. Alive, delicate, one millimetre thick, yet strong enough to travel the world.
Today, that fresco adorns every J.Rose bottle. Each piece is shaped by hand and guarded by its dagger: strength, beauty, rebirth. Every bottle has its muse: the woman portrayed in the fresco, and everyone who sees herself in her.
The image lives on the outside. The soul lives within.
Milo Manara reinterprets one of the absolute symbols of the Renaissance: Sandro Botticelli’s Venus. A cultured, passionate homage where his unmistakable line meets the ethereal elegance of the Florentine genius.
Venus reveals herself in all her iconic grace, crossed by a modern, sensual vibration that turns the classical deity into a living muse. Born from the sea foam, eternal for five centuries: beauty that time does not consume, but preserves.
Sometimes beauty does not fade: like spring, it awakens and blooms"
