Producer Tasting Note
Nose: opens with a very enticing round fruitiness met with a good deal of minerality. The refill wood has allowed the spirit to develop a great depth without overpowering the raw materials, rather transforming them into a beautiful mix of orchard fruit salad, honey and salt.
Palate: the medley of orchard fruits continue on the palate, followed by camphor, white pepper and some honeysuckle.
Finish: great length, as you would expect from the age, with lots of wax, and a little bit of white pepper, providing that signature bal*enie bittersweetness to give a great deal of balance.
