Originally launched in 1952 and now owned by Gruppo Campari of Campari and Aperol fame, the liqueur is made from 13 different herbs and plants including artichokes. 16.5% ABV.

Made from a 200-year-old recipe! An Italian classic! Amaro is an Italian bitters, commonly served as a digestif after a big meal. It's generally served neat, without adding anything except perhaps a wedge of orange on the side. That said, it can be very refreshing with a bit of ice, or perhaps some tonic water or club soda. Amaro is made by crushing various herbs, bark and citrus in alcohol, and then adding sugar syrup. The mixture is then aged in bottle or wood.
