It's generally served neat, without adding anything except perhaps a wedge of orange on the side. That said, it can be very refreshing with a bit of ice, or perhaps some tonic water or club soda. Amaro is made by crushing various herbs, bark and citrus in alcohol, and then adding sugar syrup. The mixture is then aged in bottle or wood.750 ml
