The 12 Year Old release from Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown has been matured in 70% Bourbon casks and 30% Sherry casksm it has been bottled at 46%. The whisky is made with lightly peated malt, 12-15ppm.

To mark the re-opening of Glengyle Distillery in 2004, six casks from the initial spirit run were stored away with the intention bottling them to celebrate the 10th anniversary in 2014. The whiskies are all 10 years of age, and bottled at 46%, matured in the following cask types: Oloroso Wood, Madeira Wood, Fino Wood, Rum Wood, Bourbon Wood, & Port Wood.
