Mayu Rose
$19.99
Viña Mayu was established in 2005 in the Elqui Valley, the first fine wine producer to enter the wine business since 1998. Mauro Olivier was one of the pioneers, planting vines for fine wine production and sourcing grapes from the different vineyards in the valley. He started working on his family vineyards for table grape production at a young age; years later he began working in Pisco production (the national Chilean spirit, made from white wine). In 2000, he planted the first Carménère and Syrah vines in the valley. 5 years later, in 2005, he decided it was time to embark on his own wine project, under Mayu label. Mayu is an ancient INCA name for the Milky Way, literally meaning "creek of stars." The region lies 400 km (250 mi) north of Santiago, at the southern end of the Atacama Desert in the Coquimbo region, and rises to 2000 metres above sea level. These are great value wines produced from what is effectively a high- altitude desert. The hot arid climate allows for good ripening while the cold desert nights help preserve acidity.

All wines are Hand-harvested and hand-crafted, with great attention to detail and minimal winemaking intervention. Meyer Family Vineyards wines are produced from two main vineyards, the 1.62-hectare “Old Main Road” vineyard on the Naramata Bench and the 6.9-hectare “McLean Creek Road” vineyard in Okanagan Falls.
Mazzarosa Cerasuolo
$30.99
Mazzarosa is a story of tradition, passion, and innovation, rooted in two extraordinary regions of Italy: Abruzzo and Tuscany. Founded in 1863 by Senator Giuseppe Devincenzi, the winery in Abruzzo reflects his pioneering vision for agriculture and winemaking. Over time, the Mazzarosa family extended their legacy to Tuscany, where the San Pietro estate has been crafting wine and olive oil for over 150 years. Together, these two historic estates embody the richness of Italian heritage and the values passed down through generations. The Mazzarosa Estates in Abruzzo span approximately 500 hectares, with 27 dedicated to vineyards aged between 20 and 40 years, located in one of the most favourable areas in Abruzzo for winemaking.
Liquidity Rose
$32.99
Liquidity was established in 2008 when Ian MacDonald, a businessman and art collector, teamed up with some Calgary energy industry executives to buy an ailing Okanagan Falls vineyard left over from a failed winery project. It was a success, and a few years ago it was sold to the Iconic Wineries group, owned by Anthony von Mandl (of Mission Hill and White Claw fame). Grown specially for rosé, the pinot noir for this wine comes from their home vineyards in Okanagan Falls and Oliver. Each block was picked at the perfect ripeness for rosé, capturing unique flavour profiles specific to those sites. It's classic rosé, with citrus and crushed strawberry flavours.
Feudo Montoni Rose de Adele
$40.99
"There are few estates anywhere in Italy making more compelling wines today." - Ian D'Agata
In 1469 A.D., in the heart of Sicily, the noble Aragonese family Abatellis built the baglio (a typical Sicilian court square building) where Montoni's wines are made even today. Since Roman times, durum wheat has been cultivated in the Sicilian hinterland. Within these massive expanses of yellow durum wheat, the green vineyards of Montoni have flourished for over 600 years.
For centuries, the wheat fields have contributed to a “natural isolation”of Montoni’s high-altitude vineyards. The “Island of Montoni” extends for approximately 80 hectares, with altitudes between 500 and 700 meters. The vines are situated on a hard mountain slope, all east facing, in soil that ranges from sandy to clay. The winds, tramontana and scirocco, and the exposure support Montoni's certified organic farming.
Francois Chidaine Touraine Rose
$31.99
After having started in the family estate as a farm worker, Francois decided, in 1989, to settle with a few hectares of vineyards in Montlouis-sur-Loire. Convinced from the beginning of the richness of the terroir he exploits specifically each plot and multiplies the cuvées. Aware of having in my hands a unique natural heritage, it is also in this spirit that I became interested in the cultivation of the vine in organic farming, then biodynamic. The estate has grown step by step. In 1999, there were 17 hectares. The following year, his wife, Manuela, joined him to open the tasting cellar of the “La Cave Insolite” estate on the banks of the Loire in Montlouis. In the 2000s, he took over vineyards in Vouvray. Now the domain spans the Loire by exploiting about ten hectares in this appellation located on the north bank of the river.
The white chenin is his raw material, but the acquisition in 2006 of a few plots in Chissay, under the name Touraine, allows him to honour other essential grape varieties of the Cher valley.
Bauquiere la Belle Montagne Rose
$22.99
Produced from a single plot located in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire mountain range, this wine is protected by rows of tall trees, crossed by streams. Its exceptional terroir, at an altitude of 350 metres, rests on deep limestone and clay-sandstone soils,
as well as ancient stony alluvial deposits, ideal for producing great wines.
Roederer Cristal
$519.90
Wonderful, just wonderful! And the critics agree, too! Robert Parker's Wine Advocate gave this beauty 93 points. The review: "Roederer’s 2006 Brut Cristal is striking in its sense of lift and delicacy, serving as one of many instances where those bringing preconceptions of this vintage’s warmth and ripeness of fruit to their experience may be pleasantly surprised. A nose of fresh apple, fennel and cucumber sets up associations with a slaw or salad that are crisply, lusciously and refreshingly redeemed on the palate. A garland of honeysuckle and heliotrope complements subtle suggestions of raw almond and vanilla, while alkaline and iodine notes as well as cooling but pungent green herbal notes add to the soothing yet stimulating finish. This exceptionally poised, refined, and buoyant performance is apt to gain depth with a few years’ bottle age."
