The Bollinger PN cuvée is a new addition to Champagne Bollinger’s core range. It embodies the ambition to highlight the variety of expressions of Pinot Noir by selecting the finest from several terroirs, each conveying a unique taste.
The blend incorporates reserve wines, including a portion that has been aged in magnums enhancing aromatic harmony and complexity.
Piollot Tallants Champagne

Robert Piollot (1930 - 2003) founded the house in the 19th century. Two generations later the family expanded their father's work by increasing the vineyard holdings of the domain. It is thanks to him that they can now produce a 100% pinot blanc Champagne called "colas Robin". In 1955, the Val Colas Robinl site was cleared and planted by his hand, row by row. He also established the Piollot Selection Massale that we know today in the region. He dedicated his life to selecting his best plants and then grafting. In 2009, they began converting to organic viticulture, with a total certification in 2014. They recently received their Demeter certification (biodynamics).

Francois Petit was born and raised in Avize and spent time at the iconic house of Jacques Selosse. He has now taken the reins from his father and is giving us another name to focus on in the village of Avize. Francois and his wife Justine took over for Francois’ father starting in 2015. Right away, they started to farm differently. The focus was to ensure they had a healthy and sustainable vineyard. The Champagne La Rogerie Héroïne is made from 100% Chardonnay harvested from vines in the Grand Cru village of Avize. Made in small quantities (only 7000 bottles!), this wine was aged an impressive 84+ months on the lees.

His engagement has been rewarded with two certifications: HVE (High Environmental Value) & VDC (sustainable Viticulture in Champagne). Passy Grigny is characterised by the diversity of its terroirs and enjoys exceptional sun exposure. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and more specifically Pinot Meunier are grown. This last grape variety, typical of our area, is finely represented in our cuvées to bring them roundness, elegance and fruitiness.
Pongracz Sparkling

In 1973, Desidirius Pongrácz was appointed Chief Viticultural Adviser at Distillers Corporation. During his 20-odd years in viticulture at the Cape, Pongrácz helped shape the South African wine industry through his intellect, insight, knowledge, innovation, vision and above all, fearless tenacity to pursue what he believed to be right. Pongrácz died at the age of 61 in hospital after a tragic accident while transporting Chardonnay vines to Uitkyk Estate. He was cremated on 16 August and his ashes remain in the wall of the family cemetery on Meerlust Estate. In an obituary Nico Myburgh, owner of Meerlust at the time, referred to Pongrácz as “a true gentleman and good friend”.
