Is it a coincidence we bottled two Gordon & MacPhail Glentauchers casks in a year? Yes, but it shouldn't be all that surprising... seeing as they are bottling some of the best whisky from the distillery. This 2000 vintage was matured 23 years in a First Fill Sherry Hogshead. We were blown away by this old-school dumpy, sherried single malt... it's a very cool dram! 55.8%.

As this is our first-ever door crasher bottling, we chose to bottle it at 56%, because the breaking occurred at 4:56 AM. There are also just 456 bottles... coincidence? Actually yes, that last one was a coincidence, we asked for roughly 450 bottles, and there are about 456!
