Boisterous and full of fruit, this Chardonnay is unoaked, so the fruit reigns supreme. Fruity, fresh nose with hints of citrus, lime and vanilla. Delicious peach, pineapple, and white pepper flavours. A round, powerful wine. Because it's unoaked, pair with salad, California sushi rolls, a welcoming spot on your back deck, or all three!
750ml mlWinery Tasting Note
"A very aromatic wine, with citrus notes of grapefruit, peaches, pears, and pineapple. Smooth and fresh, it displays all the flavor and characteristics of this grape variety."
Winery Pairing Suggestions
Ideal with seafood, pasta with cream and cheese sauces. It is recommended to serve slightly cold (10-12 ºC).
Established in 1824 by the Ossa Family, Viña La Rosa is one of Chile's oldest wineries and is renowned for its award-winning, consistently excellent, estate-grown and bottled wines. The Cachapoal Valley, where the winery is located (120 km south of Santiago) is a magical place where the fertile lands and vineyards are surrounded by the Cachapoal River and the Andes Mountain Range create a perfect micro-climate for growing grapes.
On the La Palma Estate Grown Label - La Palma is Spanish for Palm Tree. At Viña La Rosa the vineyards share the land with thousands of native Chilean palm trees - hence the name.
