This lovely little Linkwood was distilled in 2010, maturing 13 years in an ex-Bourbon Hogshead cask before bottling at 56.8% exclusively for KWM. We weren't looking for another Linkwood cask for the store when we picked this one, but we couldn't turn it down. Bottled 20 days shy of its 14th birthday, it has taken nearly a year to come home, and we are thrilled it is finally here. 295 Bottles.

Linkwood is a 'top dressing' malt. Roughly translated, that means 'hella good'. Actually, it means that blenders covet this rich and vibrant malt for their blends because it has an incredible fruity, and sometimes floral, profile.
