"You may find yourself in a state of fragile surrealism. Please do not attempt to adjust your consciousness. Just crack open a dram of this 1990, 35 year old Glenturret that has been rescued from oblivion in the nick of time and marvel at its soft, generous waxiness, its phantasmagoric mineral properties, its luscious white and yellow fruit notes and its general old school glory. If you should find yourself floating serenely and saying 'I have massive hands', please remember that nothing is unreal and everything will just be ok in the end... somehow."
Decadent Drams Caol Ila 19 Year
$384.99
50.1%
Producer Description
"We’ve been on a bit of a sherry run with Caol Ila lately (barring a very old Whiskyland outlier, which we’re choosing to ignore), so it felt like time to let the distillery breathe again. No tricks, no seasoning, no overthinking, just a proper refill hoggie doing exactly what it should and delivering Caol Ila in its most classical, self-assured form. Bottled at natural cask strength and left gloriously unbothered. It opens with that pristine coastal snap, all seawater, citrus and sharply chiselled peat, before drifting into tarry edges, green olives, capers and a slick of smoked olive oil. There’s wax, seaweed crackers and bone-dry peat smoke threading through it, keeping everything tight and focused. The finish lingers in all the right places, gently ashy, mineral, with lemon rind and black olive notes quietly hanging on. Effortless, expressive, and just a really lovely reminder of why Caol Ila doesn’t need dressing up."
Decadent Drams Glenlivet 19 Year
$424.99
Producer Description
"Every now and again, a modern sherry cask just lands exactly where you want it, and this is one of those. A single 1st fill sherry hogshead of Glenlivet 2006, aged for 19 years and bottled with a small, deliberate reduction to our much-loved 57.1%. It’s Glenlivet in full, confident stride, rich, composed and unapologetically sherried, but still letting the distillate keep its footing. It opens deep and plush, figs, prunes, sultanas and strawberry jam, with a background hum of old cigar boxes, cedar and polished wood. The palate gets darker and more textural, mulchy, waxy, packed with tobacco, milk chocolate and dense fruit, with just a flicker of sea salt and mocha to keep things lively. It carries on long and assured, with spices building alongside preserved fruits, walnut oil and a touch of rancio creeping in. Proper, modern sherry cask whisky, done the right way."

Producer Description
"Candlekitty is our top secret, hush hush, mum's the word, need to know basis only, if I told you I'd have to kill you, code name for Clynelish. This Candlekitty was filled into a refill barrel in 2010, where it dozed and purred lazily for 15 years, until we bottled it with a few degrees reduction at 55%. It's waxy, lemony, fat and deliciously all about the distillate."
Glenfiddich 16 Year Aston Martin
$171.99
The Glenfiddich 16 Year Old Aston Martin Edition Release No 2 was matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon Barrels, ex-Port Pipes, ex-Oloroso Sherry casks, and wine casks before being finished in ex-Fino Sherry Butts. The result has been bottled at 43% ABV.
Luckily, this bottle was not designed by Adrian Newey, so it should be less prone to breaking down before you cross the finish line.
Producer Description
"Bringing together Glenfiddich's signature fruit-led style with the influence of first-fill bourbon barrels, Port pipes, Oloroso sherry casks, wine casks and a final touch of Fino sherry butts, the whisky unfolds with controlled progression and complexity. Sweetness, richness and structure are carefully layered, allowing each cask to add its own character while remaining in complete balance. The result is a refined and assured single malt, where silken texture, orchard fruit, and elegant oak flow together in perfect harmony."
