Compass Box Architectonics Blended Malt
$264.99
Of the 1200-1500 bottles of this whisky bottled for La Maison du Whisky, fewer than 100 bottles are coming to Alberta, exclusively to KWM. Bottled at 49% the whisky is supposedly composed of Benrinnes, Clynelish, and Laphroaig, with both ex-Bourbon & Sherry casks employed in the mix. Limit 2 Per Customer!
Producer Description
"Drawing its inspiration from eclectic and sometimes offbeat worlds, the London-based house, founded in 2000 by John Glaser, sets itself apart by constantly renewing the blend genre. The Architectonics blend is a nod to 19th-century industrial architecture. Particularly complex, this version is the result of blending a rich, smooth single malt aged in sherry casks, a peated Islay whisky, a blended malt and softer, fruitier whiskies aged in bourbon casks. Long afterwards, the intensely malty, empyreumatic dry extracts that escape from the empty glass punctuate a nuanced olfactory and gustatory journey."
Arran 25 Year
$684.99
The 25-year-old Arran is now part of the Lochranza Distillery's core range, though a very limited part of it. Currently an annual release, only 3000 bottles are available world-wide. It was matured in a combination of ex-Sherry and Ex-Bourbon casks which were filled in the distillery's first few years of operation. 46% ABV. We have a mix of 2023 and 2024 botltings. Mostly the latter.
Producer Description
"As one of the first of the new wave of distilleries to reach maturity, we are delighted to share our oldest age statement with you every year. We hope that you will continue to join us in celebrating our whisky and Lochranza Distillery as the years continue to go by, and we celebrate each year with a new release of our oldest Single Malt.
Here’s to 25 years of making great Arran Single Malt!"
Benromach 10 Year
$79.99
Bottled at 43% after maturing in a mix of ex-Bourbon & Sherry casks, the lightly peated 10 year old has been bottled in the distillery's new livery!
Craigellachie 17 Year
$116.99
Craigellachie has some of the best packaging in the biz, no two ways about it. Not only is the branding for their age-stated range straight out of the 1800s, but the whisky in the bottle seems almost as archaic. And we mean that in the best possible way. And those age statements? All prime numbers! So far we've seen a 13, 17, 19, 23, 31 and 51. Love it! Expect a chewy, malty experience from days gone by. A bit more challenging, and meant for the true afficionado.
Ardbeg Dolce
$174.99
The 2026 Ardbeg Day release is Dolce, inspired by 'La Dolce Vita', the whisky was matured in a mix of Marsala and ex-Bourbon casks before bottling at 47.8%.
Producer Description
"Sicily, the land of headscarves, scooters and long walks along the beach, drenched in sun. Islay, the land of headscarves, tractors and long walks along the beach, just drenched.
"Matured in 'dolce' (sweet) Marsala fortified wine casks, Ardbeg Dolce unites dry, sweet Sicilian heat with the classic, intense smoke of Ardbeg bourbon barrels. Inspired by the slow, soulful pace of life in Sicily and the glamourous allure of 1960s cinema, this is a whisky that takes all the elegance and charm of the Mediterranean, and fuses it with the rugged, windswept spirit of Islay."
MoM Elbows Up 24 Year Canadian Whisky
$125.99
Bottled at 67%, a nod to Canadian Confederation, this 24 year old whisky is from a 2001 vintage parcel of Canadian Corn Whisky from Refill Sherry.
Sam Simmons, the Head of Whisky at Atom Brands (including Master of Malt), is a proud Canadian. He released this for Canada Day in the UK, but it is only arriving on our fair shores now!
“Canada has a long history of whisky-making and Canadian companies played a pivotal role in the history of Scotch whisky in the 20th century, but this whisky is a reaction to a particular moment in our history: Now."
"The words of a particular global leader have shocked many, scared no one, and only strengthened Canadian pride and bonds with its global community. This is just a modest gesture to display that a people, like a whisky, needn’t be big, loud and aggressive to be strong and enviable."

About The Whisky Trail
"The Whisky Trail is a collection of young and old casks, taking drinkers off the beaten path of whisky. Only whiskies that demonstrate the most exceptional characteristics are hand-selected to be bottled as part of the Whisky Trail range, and with each cask as unique as a fingerprint, no two expressions will ever be the same. To ensure each whisky maintains its full flavour and cask character, we never chill-filter or add colour."
