Producer Description
"Our smooth and vibrant single malt and one-third of our Signature Range. Using unpeated malted barley, this whisky has been distilled three times to provide a silk smoothness and a bright, delicate, flavour profile. The result is a whisky with an orchard fruit-forward flavour profile, boasting notes of sweet vanilla, apple, pear, peaches, with delicate floral undertones."
Bruichladdich Octomore 16.2
$279.99
The Octomore 16.2 was made from the same parcel of malt as 16.1, peated to 101.4ppm, but differs in its maturation: "Oloroso and Bordeaux casks, recasked into Madeira and Moscatel for final year of maturation." 2019 vintage, 5 years of age, and 58.1% ABV.
Producer Description
"Using the same batch of Scottish barley malted to the same 101.4ppm, the 16.2 has been housed in a fine selection of Oloroso and Bordeaux casks before being finished in Madeira and Portuguese Moscatel for a rich and complex flavour. Caramelised sugar, roasted nuts, and dried fruits abound, enveloped in sweet campfire smoke.
"Octomore 16.2 is a captivating exploration of contrasting elements. The powerful peat smoke finds a perfect counterpoint in the rich, nuanced sweetness derived from the finishing casks. The result is a multilayered and deeply satisfying dram, showcasing both elegance and robust character. This is a whisky that demands attention and rewards patience, revealing its intricacies with each sip."
Glengoyne White Oak Single Malt
$129.99
Glengoyne Distillery is well known for using high quality ex-sherry casks to mature much of their whisky. This White Oak release flips the script on that premise, though, and shows an intriguingly different side to Glengoyne's Single Malt. If you haven't tried this and the more limited (and of course more expensive) Glengoyne 24 Year Old White Oak yet, then you should.
48% ABV
Producer Description
"A first for Glengoyne, this brand new expression is matured exclusively in First Fill Bourbon and Virgin Oak Casks sourced from North America. These casks are charred for less than a minute allowing the Glengoyne spirit to shine, unladen."
Aberfeldy 16 Year
$119.99
Part of the Aberfeldy Distillery's core range, one of the "Last Great Malts". The water from this southern Highland distillery, the Pitilie Burn runs right next to the distillery. The cold waters are not just one of the key ingredients of Aberfeldy's golden nectar, but also the source of real gold.
40% ABV
Producer Description
"Aberfeldy 16 is matured in first-fill, re-fill and re-char Bourbon casks and then finished for six months in deluxe first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks.
Aberfeldy 16 is a richer, more full-bodied whisky. The extra time spent maturing, coupled with Oloroso Sherry casks, brings the honeyed fruitiness of Aberfeldy to the foreground."

$1,074.99
44.3% - 1990 - First Fill Sherry Hogshead - 88.65ts Whiskybase
Producer Description: "There are some very lonely casks in Whiskyland... casks like this sherry hogshead of 35 year old Pittyvaich 1990: a lonesome wee dude! His distillery is closed and most of his chums and siblings are gone, scattered to the winds and whims of time. Thankfully, the Spirit Sprites are constantly at work in Whiskyland, searching out these lost wee wooden souls; guiding them with their light to life of company and good cheer in the great indie bottling hall in the sky. Just as well really, this particular cask is lusciously dark, sultry and full of soft, plummy dark fruits and earthy richness. An unusual sherried example of Pittyvaich and a beautiful old dram, full stop!"
Baldur's Whisky 008 SingleMalt IslayCask
