Mystery Malt Series 5 from Thompson Bros consists of 38 whiskies, ranging in age from 5 to 27 years. They are all single malt Scotch whiskies, bottled at 46.3%, but you won't know which whisky you've got until you take the bottle home and break the foil seal, and lift the cap. You might end up with a Dornoch 5 Year (0.63% chance), a Miltonduff 17 Year (2.23%), a Glen Garioch 27 Year (1.91%), or one of 35 other options. Is it a coincidence we bottled two Gordon & MacPhail Glentauchers casks in a year? Yes, but it shouldn't be all that surprising... seeing as they are bottling some of the best whisky from the distillery. This 2000 vintage was matured 23 years in a First Fill Sherry Hogshead. We were blown away by this old-school dumpy, sherried single malt... it's a very cool dram! 55.8%.
Kilchoman 10yr 100% Islay sinDicate Cask

This 10 year old Kilchoman 100% Islay single cask was selected by and bottled for The sinDicate, a Calgary whisky club. The 2015 vintage whisky was matured in an ex-Bourbon Barrel, cask 15/334, before bottling at 56.8%. The club took most of the 231 bottles, but KWM has the honour of selling the remaining quarter of the cask.

This is the 6th Batch of Aberlour was bottled released by That Boutique-y Whisky Company in 2018. It was bottled at 9 years old and at 49.7%. 3080 of the company's standard 500ml bottles were made in total. Though you cannot tell by the colour of the whisky alone, this bottling of Aberlour sure looks like it could be a lot less sherried than the official releases we see from the distillery.... Interesting.

Famous for his elegant dress sense and distinctive blue clothes, William “Blue” Hanger, 3rdLord Coleraine (1748–1794), became affectionately known in fashionable Georgian London circles as “Blue Hanger” and was considered one of the best-dressed men of his day — a true dandy — as well as a loyal patron of Berry Bros. & Rudd in the end of 18th century. Named in his honour, the whisky pays tribute to this famously stylish and devoted customer, celebrating one of Georgian London’s most impeccably dressed gentlemen.

Decadent Drams Blair Athol 28 Year KWM

This KWM exclusive 1998 vintage Blair Athol was matured 28 years in a Refill Hogshead cask, before bottling at 56%.
This Blair Athol 28 Year is a partial cask, from which we took 120 bottles. The balance of our cask was married with another (lower ABV) Blair Athol from the same vintage and bottled as a general Decadent Drams release; it is not coming to Canada. But it is worth noting that other Blair Athol was given a 90% score by Le Serge of Whisky Fun fame, so that should give you an idea how good our cask is!
The label design for the Blair Athol is inspired by old Blair Athol OB labels from the 1960s, as Angus feels the liquid to be reminiscent of that era. The moose is a bit of pandering to stereotypes of Canada, and also a riff on a famous Scottish painting, The Monarch of the Glen (1851). Walter has been depicted riding the moose in Black Watch robes, pouring himself a generous dram of the Whisky Sponge Craigellachie 20 Year (from the first bottle he ever featured on), into a nosing bowl, with his one blue eye poking through his sunglasses.
