Our 3rd KWM exclusive cask of Millstone is a single malt distilled in 2016, and matured in an Oloroso sherry hogshead. The whisky has been bottled after 7 years at 52.3%. We're big fans of Millstone and its impresario Patrick Van Zuidam. We've been looking for an opportunity to select and bottle a cask of sherry-matured Millstone single malt, and are thrilled that this one is finally here!
The artwork on the label is from a painting of the store Andrew's wife Jen had made for him several years ago... it is our old entrance, pre-"the infamous Dodge Ram incident!"
Berry's Glen Keith 1995 21 Year

This 21 year old Glen Keith, a 1995 vintage was matured in cask 171273 (of unspecified type, but probably a refill American oak hogshead) and was bottled in 2017 at a cask strength of 49.8%. The whisky was discovered in one of Berry Bros.' warehouses, years after it was bottled, and offered to KWM as an archive release. The whisky was produced at the once closed (1999), then reopened (2013, and soon to be closed again* (2026 or 2027) Glen Keith Distillery.
*This is just a bit of black humour, we have absolutely no idea whether Glen Kinchie will remain open, or for how long. But of all of Pernod Ricard's distilleries, it is probably the most likely to be shut down... again... though it was refurbished in 2012. Maybe they will close Glenlivet instead!

The label appears to show Dr. Whisky (Canadian Sam Simmons) as a flapping head Canadian South Park character on a dart board... or are we reading too much into this!

This expression features double the marriage time —up to 6 months of marrying in oak—resulting in a whisky with richer flavor and a longer finish. The secret behind its gorgeous flavor is the unique combination of complex blending, higher ABV 51.4% and secondary aging process known as "marriage.
"The complex formula is created by blending more than 100 different batches of malt and grain whiskies. After blending, the whisky is filled into used barrels and matured for up to 6 more months. This "marriage" process harmonizes all components in the formula, resulting in a mellow taste."

This 30 year old Blended Grain is part of the Boutique-y Core, bottled at 46% from a marriage of refill cask, ex-Bourbon Hogshead, and Sherry Octave matured Grain whiskies.

We also love a drop of old blended grain. From a marriage of refill casks both ex-Bourbon hogsheads and ex-Sherry octaves. "Our label design settled for just the one deer, starting with a young buck, getting older, and more dignified, as the whiskies aged, finishing with the dominant stag who has been through some scrapes in his life; older, wiser, and looks a little pissed with everything!
"Our 30 Year Old deer is ‘The Monarch of the Glen’. A dominant stag whose been through some scrapes. We adore the expression on his face. this is a deer that has seen it all!. Boutique-y Whisky artist, Emily Chappell, has captured our brief so perfectly, and has injected her magic into it, as usual. The colours of the labels reflect the colour palette of the Aurora Borealis, while the ‘wave pattern’ across all of the labels symbolises the way the Aurora Borealis is always moving in the sky, if you’ve been lucky enough to see it."

"This label is based on the beginning of a Manga-inspired story featuring Dave Worthington as a ‘Wild West of Scotland’ a whisky warrior. This will be the first story of the series of labels of his detailed adventures. Beginning with this one the bestowing of his powers by the Whisky Gods. The setting is dark with just a few single spot lights on Dave to give light around him. There are heads carved within the stone surrounding him, as he is in a chamber. To the left hand side in the foreground is a cloaked women with her hood down. Her head is raised, mouth open and arm raised aloft, clutching Banjolnir, a Banjo, the mystical instrument of the Whisky Gods which is fizzing with light energy. In the centre Dave is kneeled with his head bowed but in respect, not fear, mindful of the awesome responsibility being given to him. He is dressed in jeans, a shirt and waistcoat, with a single leather, Bandolero strap across his chest - with, instead of bullets, a range of different pipes as well as a couple of harmonicas in it.
