Chateau Guiraud, an 1855 Classified Growth, is one of the most prominent estates in the southern Bordeaux region. This fine estate in the Sauternes appellation has been driven by its pioneering spirit since its creation. Since 1996, the estate has been devoted to biodiversity and in 2011 obtained an Organic Agriculture certification. G of Château Guiraud is a dry white wine made from grapes harvested at full maturity. It is aged for approximately 7 months in the oak barrels that produced the previous year's Grand Cru. It reveals a richness of expression and an assertive personality. The blend of 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Sémillon.

The inaugural release of whisky from the Isle of Harris Distillery is here. This lightly peated (12-15 ppm) single malt was matured at least 5 years in a mix of First Fill ex-Bourbon casks as well as Oloroso and Fino Shery Butts. It is married for at least 12 weeks in small batches before bottling at 46%. We are expecting a mix of Batch 4 and 5, of the 8 batches of inaugural release, which the distillery has bottled. Please note we have no control over which batch we receive, and we won't be differentiating; they are to be treated as the same product!

"This 2000 Ardmore is a great medley of farmy, earthy, smoky and sherry notes. We don’t normally go for whiskies that have been finished or re-racked. However, in this instance, the quality and richness of the sherry influence married so well with the fat, lightly peaty Ardmore distillate character that we couldn’t resist this lovely dark and gooey concoction. Bottled at natural cask strength, the finish is long and going towards tar resins, wood oils, mineral oil, strop leather and sooty waxes."

The label for this edition celebrates the blissful joy that is Teams and Zoom meetings, which we have all discovered and come to love during the pandemic. It is also a helpful guide to identifying this rum's distillery of origin, given that the label is made up of four squares. This is a sibling cask to Rum Sponge edition 14 and, like that one, is decidedly easy and approachable while still displaying richness of character and depth. The nose is highly exotic with tinned tropical fruits in syrup, while the palate shows firm oak spices, medicines and fresh bread notes. Luscious, easy and super pleasurable! Why not pour a significant measure into a coffee cup and gently melt away over the course of a two hour virtual strategy meeting. Responsibly, of course."
