Revel Chambarine
$19.99
From the Producer;
"A collaboration with our friends, the Grape Witches.
The best ideas, like the best friendships, are often easy.
I've been friends with the Grape Witches for the better part of a decade now, so when they asked to come blend with me, of course I said yes.
Chambarine feels like it encapsulates the pure joy that is hanging with them: the giggle of plump nectarines, the wit of tart apples, and the resilience of a (new-to-us) hybrid grape—Chambourcin."
Revel Sidro
$6.99
From the Producer
"Sidro is a collab with our friends at Bar Volo, and it's our first ever cider with a little bit of residual sweetness.
It's a UK style cider with a gentle kiss of natural apple sugars to balance the acidity and soft tannins.
We arrested fermentation by chilling the cider to 0°C, shocking our wild microflora and capturing the cider with natural sugars. We blended it with a finished crabapple cider to add tannin and texture."
Iichiko Napoleon Shochu
$49.99
This is a best seller among genuine shochu. Sweet aromas of melon and watermelon are followed by a delicate taste that hints of pear and sweet orchard. The finish is clean and smooth. Defined as the “Napoleon of the Working Class Neighborhood” – for it’s high end quality at a very reasonable price.
Nardini Grappa Bianca
$68.99
This bottle of Nardini Grappa Bianca is exquisitely presented in glass as clear as the Grappa within.
No, this is not written by AI. It took me a long time to come up with this. About as long as it took Nardini to write the tasting note below, at least.
More Not Very Illuminating Information Directly From The Producer's Own Website
"Since 1779 Grappa Nardini is the icon of Grappa in Italy and all around the world.
A symphony of aromas and perfumes born from the expert distillation of pomace from multiple grape varieties using three different distillation methods. It is now guarded in a new bottle, sinuous in its form, made precious by some copper details celebrating the stills and the bicentennial experience of the Nardini Family. Its crystalline colour and characteristic floral and fruity aromas allow you to best enjoy Grappa Bianca Nardini neat or in surprising cocktails."
Cocchi BIanco Americano
$52.99
From the Producer,
"Cocchi Americano is an aromatized wine created in 1891 by Giulio Cocchi and since then produced without interruption according to the original recipe.
The name “Americano” is both due to the alcohol made bitter (“amaricato”) by the addition of herbs and spices and to the American habit of drinking vermouth with ice and soda.
Produced according to Giulio Cocchi original recipe, Cocchi Americano is recognized in Asti as the aperitif par excellence – a real piece of history of our town.
On its label the original futurist rooster designed in the 30’s and representing his aperitif function (“it awakes the appetite”) as well as one of the symbols of the town of Asti."
