Azienda Agricola La Torre is located near Sant'Angelo in Colle, in the southern part of the Montalcino municipality. The first La Torre Brunello di Montalcino was the 1982 Brunello, which appeared on the market in 1987, eleven years after the estate was purchased. The estate is 36 hectares in size, 5.6 hectares of which is planted as vineyards. The winery produces Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, Ampelio, Rosso Toscano and, in outstanding years, Brunello Riserva. The winery operates on a traditional basis, although its practices respond to developments in know-how and environmental protection. Tradition is never forgotten, and recently-abandoned procedures and practices are given due consideration alongside innovations provided by scientific research.

The Champagnes from father-daughter duo Arnaud & Mathilde Margaine are a KWM exclusive, and they are exceptional. With vineyards based in Montagne de Reims, they specialize in Chardonnay (90%) although they also have a small plot of Pinot Noir. This small estate (7 hectares) was started by Arnaud's father (Bernard) in the 1950s and is organically farmed. The vines average 35 years of age and the Chardonnay is produced from a clone unique to the area.

Exclusive to KWM, the Dumangin Saignee rosé is a beautiful, intensely aromatic Champagne. The grapes are hand harvested, hand sorted then spend about a 48 to 72 hour maceration period. This vintage Champagne is only made in the very best years and is primarily Pinot Meunier (50%) and Pinot Noir. It's fresh and bracing with notes of wild berries and citrus followed by some minerality.

Oderro is one of the oldest and most respected producers in Piedmont, famous for their exceptional and long-lived Barolos. They also produce Moscato d'Asti, a sweet, fizzy low-alcohol (5%) wine that is perfect with brunch or any other occasion that calls for something fizzy and delicious. It is pale yellow in colour with a fragrant and aromatic bouquet along with light notes of mandarin, grapefruit, white peach, flowers and sage. It's refreshing, sweet and aromatic on the palate. Dating back to the 1650's, the Dumangin's have always worked with the vines of Champagne, but it wasn't until 1890 when Hippolyte Dumangin created Champagne Dumangin in the 1er Cru vineyards of Chigny-les-Roses. Five generations later, Champagne Dumangin is producing an array of wines, from their classic feminine style to their newer, high-end cuvees. This Cuvee 17 is (almost) an equal blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, and is one of their newest additions to their line. Cuvee 17 is a natural style champagne, but this is serious wine! With 33% of the bottle consisting of reserve wine, it creates a fierce complexity and opulent notes of elderflower, banana, lemon cream and hints of brioche. Perfect as an aperitif, with appetizers or with fresh seafood.

Rosier Rose Cremant Brut

In France, Crémant is the term used for sparkling wines made in the same method as Champagne but from outside of the actual Champagne region. The Rosier family left their native Champagne area, moved to Limoux and began making wine in January of 1982, full of hope and energy after purchasing a vineyard property in the village of Villelongue d’Aude. They began by restructuring the vineyard and took out all the old red Aramon vines to make way for Chardonnay, Chenin, Mauzac and Pinot Noir. Their first ‘cuvée’ was created in 1983, a scant production of 600 bottles. The following year 6000 bottles were produced under the ‘appellation’ Blanquette de Limoux. In 1985, they outgrew the space in Villelongue and moved to Limoux to larger premises and were able to increase production, thanks for the most part to our expansion into the American market. They now produce 650,000 bottles of Blanquette de Limoux and Crémant de Limoux in a specially designed, ultra-modern ‘Chai’ (wine production plant and storehouse) and have established a presence outside France in sixteen countries around the world.
This Cremant is made from a combination of 70% Chardonnay, 20% Chenin Blanc, and 10% Pinot Noir. Pairs with seafood, grilled or breaded calamari, and more.

All her grapes are grown in a single plot of 2.5 hectares, which is also the total size of the domain that Dominique Moreau founded in 2000. Because all her wines come from a single vineyard, she has decided to emphasize the differences in champagnes through vinification. There are wines matured in barrique, amphorae, enamel tanks and one without sulfur. All come from the 2.5 hectares of single vineyard on the Kimmeridge marl soil of the Soden, on the Côte des Bar. Winemaker Dominique Moreau, who named the estate after her grandmother, is a master of purism. Her champagnes are delicate and elegant, yet with underlying power and a high degree of drinking pleasure.
