Secret Sponge Williamson 10 Year
$254.99
The final Secret Sponge release is a 2014 vintage Williamson (cough Laphroaig), matured in two Refill Hogsheads and an ex-Laphroaig Butt. Bottled at 10 years of age, and 57.1% (watered down from a cask strength of more than 65%).
Producer Description
"This is the sixth – and final – Secret Sponge Edition. It’s a 10 year old, small batch bottling of Williamson Single Malt.
"This whisky was distilled in 2014 and filled into refill hogsheads. Around two and half years ago, we combined two of the hogsheads from this parcel and re-racked that mix into an ex-Laphroaig refill butt to continue maturing. I wanted to do this small, controlled initial bottling from this butt to increase the headspace for the rest of the whisky as it matures. The natural cask strength was way up at over 65%, so I decided to bottle it with quite a bit of reduction at 57.1%.
"I have always loved this distillery. It was my dad’s favourite whisky and the whisky that got me into single malts in the first place. The last time we bottled whisky from this distillery was for Whisky Sponge Edition No.61, which I did as a tribute to my dad and to my daughter Molly. This one is for my son, Arthur."

Westie Sponge No. 5 Ben Nevis 25 Year
$599.99
Producers Description:
We round off our beloved Westie Sponge series with a 1998 Ben Nevis. It’s a single refill hogshead bottled at 25 years of age and natural cask strength. We’re also especially pleased with this one as it matured its whole life at the distillery as well, so added ‘Westie’ bonus there. It’s a wonderfully pure and vivid example of Ben Nevis, very mature, loads of waxy, oily and mineral character plus some lovely citrus and white fruit notes. A perfect end to the Westie Sponge series.
Whiskyland Ch.2 Bowmore 20 Year
$719.99
The second chapter in the Whiskyland series is a 20 year old Bowmore bottled at 53.3% from a Refill Hogshead originally filled in 2004. 90.08pts Whiskybase & 90pts Whisky Fun
Producer Description
"This is a single, refill hogshead of 2004, 20 year old Bowmore Islay Single Malt we bottled at natural cask strength. This is a special bottling, 100% of the proceeds will go towards protecting the natural habitat of the Dramblegeek: one of Whiskyland’s most enchanting indigenous species. These creatures have struggled in recent years with the destruction of large swathes of their natural internet habitat, leaving fewer and fewer natural spaces for them to pollinate their often politically incorrect sense of humour. Hopefully, this bottling will sell well, and funds can be directed towards special podcasting and blogging rehabilitation activities which will bring our beloved Dramblegeeks back from the brink... Please buy generously and save the Dramblegeeks!"
Decadent Drams Glen Garioch 21 Year
$329.99
From Decadent Drinks, This 21 Year Old bottling of Glen Garioch is no batch of casks; it is from one single 1st fill Hogshead filled in 2003. Bottled at 55%.
Producer Description
"Here is a single, 1st fill hogshead of 2003, 21 year old Glen Garioch Highland Single Malt which we’ve bottled at natural cask strength. It’s a luscious, tropically fruity and waxy example that seems to muddled together old school and modern profiles simultaneously. Like a liquid manifestation of cognitive dissonance!"
Whiskyland Ch.3 Glen Grant 31 Year
$811.99
This 1993 vintage Glen Grant is the 3rd release in the Whiskyland series, bottled after 31 years in a Refill Barrel at 52.7%. 89.29pts Whiskybase
Producer Description
"This is a single refill barrel of Glen Grant 1993, aged for 31 years and bottled at natural cask strength of 52.7%. Whiskyland is a much-varied world, its landscapes carpeted and patchworked by city metropolis, cave networks, seemingly endless scorches of desert and many shades of forest and jungle.
"Perhaps the most dense and complex of these rich ecosystems are the Dunnage Jungles of Northern Whiskyland. Beneath the impenetrable Excel Spreadsheet Canopy there exists a intricate network of creatures and plant life; the beating heart of Whiskyland and a place that still reveals to us mysteries both beautiful and terrifying...
"Despite many years of research, we still know relatively little about this magical world. Please enjoy this beautiful old refill matured Glen Grant and sip it thoughtfully as you delve into the Dunnage Jungles of Whiskyland..."
Whiskyland Ch.4 BenRiach 33 Year
$1,469.99
At 33 years, this is one of the oldest IBs of BenRiach we have seen in a while. Distilled in 1991 and matured in a refill sherry hogsheads until bottling at 55.9%. 91.5pts Whiskybase
Producer Description
"This is a single, refill sherry hogshead of Benriach 1991, aged for 33 years and bottled at natural cask strength of 55.9%. One of Whiskyland’s most sparse and haunting landscapes is the Plainoak Desert. Many wanderers have lost their minds staring into the vast, fathomless bungholes that dot this stark tundra. If you venture into the Plainoak Desert, be sure to bring the following kit: 4 pipettes, a broad variety of tasting glasses lashed about your neck with lanyards, dram tokens from Whisky Festivals gone by that you can cast into the depths of the bung holes in a vague hope of shattering their psychic grasp upon your feeble mind, a teaspoon, unread of copies of Whisky Magazine from the early 2000s, a pair of rugged canvas sandals and two bottles of this Benriach 1991 for company – ideally three!"
